Spiders and fly infestation in the room, when mentioned to staff they couldn’t be more unhelpful. The shower was broke and room was generally stinking dirty. All insects in the sink and toilet stank. Skeleton staff. Dinner was over cooked and inedible, they also didn’t ask us about breakfast on the second morning so we had to go without (you must preorder by 8pm the day before). A fire alarm also went off at 7am, they didn’t even acknowledge it or apologise. Horrendous.
What a spectacular setting! Secluded and quiet with beautiful walks through the forest alongside the estuary. We loved that the staff were relaxed, and the atmosphere unpretentious whilst the food was exceptional quality. We stayed in a top notch room which had a large spa-like bathroom with huge whirlpool bath.
The property is in an absolutely stunning location.
The bedrooms are beautiful.
Not being able to eat in the dinning room in the evening is inconvenient. (The dining roomis only open certain evenings so be vigilent when you book).
Sadly there are no communal areas, so when it's wet be prepared to be in your room.
Having never been to South West Wales before, we used Slebech as a base for visiting Tenby, Pembroke, St David’s, and the Pembroke coast path, a plan that worked very well. The Park has some pretty good walks itself, our room was spacious, smart, and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent.
Lovely location for a quiet getaway.
Breakfast was a great every morning, but it was a bit disappointing that the restaurant is only open for dinner at the end of the week. The staff provided some great recommendations for places to eat in the local area though.
The room was comfortable and little additions in the birthday package were a nice touch.
We weren't able to walk around the grounds much as it was very wet, but the location is lovely and definitely relaxing. The hotel is close to a few towns and places to visit so there was plenty to do despite the weather.
All in all, had a nice stay.
We had a lovely 3 night stay. Peaceful environment, and very good location to explore Pembrokeshire. Staff were busy, and sometimes felt like they were understaffed but otherwise helpful and friendly. We had the Walled Room which was beautiful.
Room was very luxurious but the curtains were broken and the toilet made noise all through the night which was unfortunate. Beautiful surroundings and the staff was lovely.
It is a very unique property with nice walking trails and gardens. Overall it wasn’t kept up well and needs a face lift and grounds keeper outside. Rooms were nice with comfortable bed and good shower. Unfortunately it is far from everything and the restaurant and bar were not open Monday night so had to drive back into town. Breakfast was good and breakfast room very nice. No air conditioning but the fan in the room was nice.
