We chose not to stay after seeing the place.
Publié le 9 sept. 2024 sur HotelsUnfortunately this place looked unsafe and we chose to go somewhere else. The front desk person was having a conversation about another guest being disruptive. Then she gleefully told me she was going to fire someone. The room wasn’t ready, an hour after check in. The clientele already in residence were sitting on the balcony with a case of beer half gone. In short, it was a dump. Unfortunately I couldn’t get my money refunded but we moved down to the Super 8 for a much better stay.

This is an older motel. The refrigerator and air conditioner were old, but still worked. We loved the two recliners in the room. They were really confortable. The parking lot was small, and a bit crowded, but well lit. The room was noisy due to other customers having large gatherings, and one person stood right outside our door speaking loudly on his phone for a long time. The woman in the unit next to ours sat outside our door and smoked nonstop during waking hours. The motel was fine, but the guests were not very considerate of others.

Place to Sleep
Publié le 27 août 2024 sur HotelsNot more than a 2-star motel. Old building in a questionable location. The staff was nice. The shower was newer, and we liked not having a tub/shower. Very close to the train tracks but there was not much noise.

It was extremely outdated. The floors are sloped and it smells like cigarettes. The carpet is old and worn and the room smells musty. They had to bring a maintenance guy into the room to fix the airconditioner and the cable TV wasn't working. There were no electrical outlets near the bed for charging devices. The bathroom door was warped and stuck in the open position.
