Family Getaway in Paradise
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had 3 couples with plenty of room to relax, enjoy the gorgeous views, play games, cookout and eat alfresco on our private patio and watch the sunset. The condo air condition was nice and cool during the day and overnight. Beds are very comfortable! Property is gorgeous! Onsite snorkel in the ocean was a highlight! Staff is very attentive and friendly! This condo is furnished to perfection! This was a dream vacation with all of the luxuries!!

Amazing Property

I was looking for somewhere extremely clean and comfortable, and this property was above and beyond my expectations -- it's the cleanest property I've ever stayed in. The home is lovely and the owners have thought of every little detail (towels, hair dryer, coffee, pantry staples, beach towels, bikes, etc). I also loved the location, right next to the beach, great pool area, nearby coffee shops and restaurants onsite, and parking was efficient. Area is quiet, safe, and has an outstanding range of activities for families. Lastly, the property owner provided activities, restaurants, home instructions, and made the trip simple and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this property to everyone!

Could have been better
Publié le 15 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayVRBO lists this property as being in excess of 3,100 sq ft, whereas property is listed for sale as being 2,906. Ditto variance for lanai.
Prop mgr communications ad hoc at best, incl no arrival info day of as we properly got for our other unit we had rented. We had to search for info package and parking fob (of which there was only one instead of two) - other unit had those properly laid out.
Lanai furniture in need of refreshing.
Various light bulbs needing replacement (kitchen, bathroom sconces, etc), windows need to be washed, exit instructions (one small paragraph, whereas other property had proper full description) indicate airco needed to be turned OFF, whereas no OFF switch shown nor described in binder - instead brought temp on thermostats up to 80F.
Access to garage took involvement of property manager, as access passes would not allow this to take place. She finally was able to provide special access passes. This is a Montage issue, not this unit, but still needs to be made aware.
This unit could use wind screens on the North side of lanai.

Will take note to improve some of the items you mentioned such as the window washing and replacing light bulbs, etc. We use Montage engineering and have a maintenance program with them to take care of those items. The lanai furniture was recently completely re-upholstered with new fabric as well as pressure washed and cleaned.
As far as info packets, we do send detailed pre-arrival check-in information as well as personal recommendations via email. Upon arrival, you check in with Montage front desk to get your keys, resort info and put credit card down for any incidentals to charge to your room.
There is a house binder inside the condo for our guests to use should they need additional information but otherwise once inside the condo it is a self check-in meaning guests can access a place without needing the Host to be there. Many of our guests prefer this privacy. Will remind Montage to make sure the binder is more visible.
For the thermostat and checking out, Montage highly recommends that our thermostats do not get turned off completely but rather stay on and left at 80 degrees. Because there is so much wood inside the unit, they don't want the temperatures to get too high because wood expands and contracts at extreme temperatures which can cause damage/warping.
We don't have too many items needed for check out because we use Montage's housekeeping. Other units may have outside cleaners come and require more from their guests to check out. It's already hard enough for guests to leave Maui, so the less work they have to do seems like better but good to know how you feel about it.
Otherwise, glad you enjoyed the condo and the beautiful views and service Montage offers!

The most extraordinary views!

Ample space and very thoughtfully stocked with all kitchen essentials.

Publié le 23 mars 2022 sur HomeAwayThe unit is an amazing location within the beautiful Montage property. The view is unforgettable especially when there are whales breaching in front all day long. The unit was clean, well stocked, and had everything you could need. Having access to everything Montage has to offer while also having the privacy a unit like this offers was a huge plus. The property manager was great and provided us with the necessary info and we can’t wait to come back!!
