Aloha Dale and mahalo for your review. I apologize for the noise while construction is being done. I do want to point out that it is only being done during business hours, 9 am and 4 pm, during weekdays. While it is a small inconvenience, they are working on structural issues so that the building remains solid for years to come. Also, I agree that the parking fees are high. Parking is handled through the association and not by the condo owners. There is some street parking available nearby. I'm so glad that you were happy with the unit and found the kitchen island to be useful. We love the extra storage and work space that it provides. While the clean-up and rebuilding of Lahaina is going on, it is a wonderful time to explore other areas of the island such as Haleakala, Iao Valley, Upcountry, etc. There is so much to see and enjoy. Every part of the island has its own vibe. We hope you'll return again and explore further. Mahalo!

Thank you so much for your review. We appreciate getting feedback. I would like to respond to a few things in this review. Firstly, parking is handled by the association, not property owners. If you choose not to pay for parking, there is limited street parking across the street and up the street. We are happy to give our guests detailed directions so they may find street parking within a short distance from Royal Kahana. Secondly, insects in the unit. Unfortunately there is an increase in bugs during the rainy season. We do our best to combat this by getting our unit sprayed regularly. Third, we do not provide dryer sheets and no where does it state that we do. We provide some essentials to get our guests started. When you come into the unit, you will find a small bottle of dish soap, handsoap, 5-6 detergent pods, a small tube of shampoo and conditioner. Third, occasionally a keycard needs tobe reprogrammed. We're so happy that the association recently updated the program and this should improve the keycards. Lastly, we are so happy that you enjoyed the view! It really is spectacular. We do everything we can to keep the unit in good order and well equip. Thanks again for your review.

Aloha Nancy. Thank you for your review. We always appreciate feedback. There are a few things I'd like to address. We advertise as ocean front, not beach front. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear. I will make sure to clarify that on VRBO. Also the unit number is 604, the 6 is the floor number. I'll make sure to clarify that as well. As far as the beach in front of our building, it is seasonal. In the summer the tide is lower and there is more sand exposed, creating more beach. In the winter time the tide is higher, less sand exposed, so less beach. However, there is a beautiful beach a short walk down which I described and provided information about in the information I sent prior to check-in. Again, we advertise as ocean front, not beach front. Regarding the sports channels, we provide Spectrum cable. These include ESPN, ESPN2, Fox, CBS, ABC, NBC, and many more. My husband is also a sports fan and watches the games when we are there. You can use the guide to find these channels. Finally, and most importantly, you said you messaged us regarding the TV channels and that you had a difficult time getting in to the unit. I went through the VRBO app to see if I over looked your message. No where did you message me through the app. I also provide my personal phone number and an email address. I did not receive a text message, phone call or email regarding these issues. I encourage our guests to reach out with issues and questions and I try always to respond promptly.
