Great location. Problem with amenities.
Publié le 24 févr. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe condo was located in a great area and we certainly enjoyed the beaches, walking and access to other parts of the island. The condo is dated and could use some updating. The biggest problem for me was the listing said there was access to a fitness room at the nearby resort hotel. On our first day that was not evident and we inquired about this, even sending a screenshot to the host. They said I could buy a weeks membership at a gym in town. It's unfortunate that a property can mislead a guest and expect the guest to pay for their mistake. I didn't want to have to drive to a gym and when I said they could buy me a pass at the nearby resort facility that was mentioned in their listing, they did not get back to me. Lastly, they deleted the fitness room on the amenities page shortly after we talked about it so no else is mislead.

Thank you so much for staying with us and we are so sorry to read about the issues you had during your vacation. We hope you know that we would never intentionally mislead our guests, that is just not the way we have done business for 40 years here at the Ridge. We care deeply about our guests happiness, from start to finish. Our aim is to create a lifelong connection with each guest and that starts with honesty and transparency.
The mention of the gym has been on our listing for years, and it was meant to show that there are gyms at the resort. It was listed with other amenities such as golf, tennis, grocery store, bars, etc and we are so sorry for the confusion there. We completely took it off our listing after speaking with you, as well as all of our other listings, because we did not want other guests to run into the same issue you that you did.
In communication with you we did offer to pay for your gym pass and that is something we would still be very happy to do for you to make it right. Please know we are always here with any follow up questions or concerns and once again we are so sorry about the confusion of the listing.

Enjoyed returning to Kapalua
Publié le 25 mars 2020 sur HomeAwayIt had been a few years since visiting Maui and Kapalua but, we were not disappointed. The Ridge condo was well furnished, lots of supplies (oils, seasonings, etc) and located convenient to the beach and hiking trails. This unit has a more limited view of Oneola Bay, but still beautiful. Will likely return again.

We had a lovely time.
And we were delighted to learn that all of the food we left went to a food bank. Such a fun vaca. Highly recommend this pretty little place!!

Everything was great except shuttle service
Publié le 14 nov. 2019 sur HomeAwayThe villa is amazing, great location. Only issue is with the shuttle service, it’s primitive in the sense that you have to call on the phone, and the dispatcher (Clarence or Gladis, something like that) is very rude and unprofessional frequently.

Beautiful view, excellent location
