There’s a couple of options for beer and a feed in Hawker. Easy drive to Wilpena for sightseeing or day walks.

Nigel’s welcome and travel suggestion was great.
Highly recommended.

Warm and welcoming
Publié le 23 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayNigel goes out of his way to create a welcoming home. Freshly baked bread, generous provisions and a warm personal welcome.
I ended up stayed in the 4 bedroom house next door - Hawker Bed and Breakfast. The sofa bed in the TV room is now a very comfortable queen bed. Groups should be aware that one bedroom is a walk through between the TV room and kitchen. All rooms have effective reverse cycle aircon so the house warms up quickly on cold days.
After hiking in the rain one day I was very grateful for the modern washing machine and dryer.

Great stay
Publié le 7 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayLovely home with secure yard for the dog. Well stocked fridge with home cooked bread greatly appreciated. Close to all facilities and great for Heysen Trail. Nigel very friendly and amenable. Highly recommend

Delightful

Everything you need for a relaxing stay with adventures every day at your door step. also pet friendly was a great location for us to base ourselves. everything we needed was available and the house was very comfortable.
