Lake Wallenpaupack waterfront

The property is located at a very beautiful part of lake wallenpaupack, in a beautiful neighborhood and very close to town. We've stayed in many different parts of the lake and this may be our favorite area. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The location of the two sigle beds listed in the description was closed off and sleeping was not conducive in the basement. The two couches were very comfortable nonetheless. We loved the lake. The walk down to the waterfront is most definitely not for young children and the elderly. The dock was lots of fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice stay at wallenpaupack
Publié le 30 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe spent much of our time on water fishing. It was nice to come back to a home with deck for relaxing afternoons. We encountered a electrical issue which was nothing more than a gfi accidentally pushed. Helped was summoned and Cindy promptly showed up to assist and resolve issue.

Publié le 9 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe log cabin was very nice and comfortable. Our family had a great time relaxing, fishing and swimming off the dock. The negatives are the steep rocky path to the water. Also there isn’t a washer and dryer available.

Nice cabin - difficult steps
Publié le 10 août 2022 sur HomeAwayThe cabin is very nice and the layout and space inside is wonderful. The difficult part is the stairs down to the water. Not only are there no functioning lights after sunset (the original power line broke and the solar lights don’t work either), the stone steps are also getting loose making the hike up and down quite dangerous. We were aware that this cabin is not level to the lake and that is not the problem. The conditions of the stairs however is very! unsafe.
