Proximité avec le centre de Hayle et de la plage (environ 20 min à pieds).
Rapport qualité / prix moyen. Nous avions une chambre « supérieure » qui certes était spacieuse mais il manquait certaines choses, comme les produits de toilette.

Sehr schönes Zimmer, sauber und gut ausgestattet im Obergeschoss des Pub.
Der Pub liegt an einer start befahrenen Durchgangsstraße. Zum Glück war unser Fenster zu einer Seitenstraße. Ab 7 h am Morgen mussten wir das Fenster aber trotzdem wegen des Verkehrslärms schließen.
Im näheren Umkreis gibt es einige Restaurants/Take Aways und einen großen Supermarkt (ca. 1 km entfernt).
Das Personal ist sehr nett. Im Pub gibt es fast täglich abends Live-Musik bei einer sehr familiären Atmosphäre.
Fazit:
Bis auf den Verkehrslärm uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Very nice quaint Inn. Very welcoming staff, rooms were well cleaned and good sized with a nice bathroom. Great if you’re holidaying in the area

Publié le 8 août 2024 sur HotelsDon’t stay here if you are looking for a restful sleep. Disturbed every night by rowdiness and speeding cars.
The room only allowed for a double bed pushed against the wall making it difficult to get in and out of bed, worth noting if you have mobility issues. On arrival it was obvious that condiments had not been replenished, had to chase up for tea bags and milk.

It's a pub, clean, large comfortable room

We were over the garden/courtyard, there were people drinking and talking, didn't bother us or keep us awake. We were worried it might get too roudy, but not at all.
It's a pub and we liked you could come and go via the back stairs and didn't have to go through the pub.
They had music on, but the room we had was not bothered by it.

The welcome was pleasant and the staff friendly
The room and facilities were as expected
We ordered food in the bar area that was edible but could have been visually so much better.

Our stay here was a mixed bag. I'll cover the positives first
Free parking
Good food
15 minute, easy drive to St Ives
Now the negatives
Stained walls all around the room, especially in the bathroom
Room was extremely hot - fan was provided but didn't make a huge difference
Some staff great and really helpful but some staff rude
Loud live music on until 12:15am. The band were great but not so good when we needed to wake up early to be at an event. Would have been nice to know about this beforehand as we likely would have booked somewhere else.
Was a struggle to park at times, but parking was free.
Overall this was a nice little pub, but not somewhere I would stay again.
