Beachfront holiday

We had an issue with cleanliness in the kitchen,but was resolved by the owners.

A lovely place to stay.
Publié le 11 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay at Sea Scenes, a bright and clean apartment, with patio doors that opened onto the outside seating area. Lovely to be so close to the sea with great views. Helen was great with some help we needed. 🙂

This place has everything you need for your stay but no direct access to garden from living room
Publié le 11 mars 2020 sur HomeAwayGreat little property right on the beach. Clean and everything essential and non essential is supplied. It was only after booking and not being able to cancel I was made aware that the back door that leads out on to the garden/beach front is advised not to use. The front door lock was also badly worn and had to be replaced during my stay. The back garden is not secure, this was disappointing to discover as not only was i unable to use the patio doors I had to leave the property and lock up in order to access the garden as the garden leads on to the driveway and main road. This was frustrating as it meant every time the dog was taken out everything had to be locked up.

Overall a lovely apartment
Publié le 18 déc. 2019 sur HomeAwayThe apartment was in an excellent location and was well equipped, although a frying pan would have been useful. It was clean and tidy, although we had to wash the crockery before use as some plates were greasy.
Everything worked, it was lovely and warm for a November stay. The main bedroom was very roomy with plenty of storage space and the bed was lovely and firm. Pity the TV reception in the bedroom was poor on BBC.
The view from the lounge was excellent with beautiful sunsets and the shipping going too and fro, our dog loved the beach too. Unfortunately the patio doors could not be unlocked, which was a pity on the couple of sunny days we had.
Overall a lovely well equipped apartment in a great position, with a comfy bed (we only used the one bedroom), spacious shower and a beach outside the front door, if you could open it....

Great views across to Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight
