Great romantic getaway
Publié le 10 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was so cute and everything was so clean! The grounds and the views were breathtaking. We did do the hike up to the top of the hill to enjoy the lookout. It was a little steeper and longer than we anticipated but we'll worth it. What a great little slice of heaven. Hotub was perfect temperature and being able to hangout in the silence of the night was amazing. Would definitely do this again!

My favorite part of thr property is the little lookout at thebfront of the property. It is so serene and a gret spot to restore your balance. Greg and Marsha are the most gracious hosts. I highly recommend spendina few days in the cabin.

A Little piece of GOD'S creation.
Publié le 15 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe check in was timely, the cabin was very nice, well equipped and spotlessly clean. There was everything there to make our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed walking to the tower and it was both breath taking on the way up and the view from the tower. Our fur buddies enjoyed romping in the woods. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit and had an overall wonderful time. Greg and Marsha were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating. We definitly will go again and would recommend it to anyone that wants to get away and enjoy nature and all that GOD has created. Thank you again Greg and Marsha.

Quiet, clean, everything you need
Publié le 28 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreg and Marsha are great hosts. They provide pretty much everything you need from spices, coffee, coffee filters, to sheets, towels, firewood, trashbags. You will need to bring your own ziplocs, saran wrap, aluminum foil, charcoal and lighter fluid.
Totally impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin.
The cabin is very quiet. The hot tub is great! The hike up to the lookout is steep but worth the trip up. Take a bottle of wine or beverage to enjoy the view! They have chairs and wine holders up there for your relaxing pleasure.
It's a small cabin so be aware that there's not a lot of space for things. We lived out of our suitcases as there's really no room to hang clothes. There is a dresser in the bedroom. But only the bottom drawer is empty.
We didn't try the TVs, but the wifi works great. We were only able to use our mobiles via the wifi. This was fine for us as we wanted to be more off the electronic leash anyway.
We found the beds and pillows to be very comfortable. Very nice sheets on the beds and I believe the quilts are actually handmade.
Also, they can provide items that you may need. Once you get up to the cabin, it's a haul, if you need to go back out. The road is impressively well taken care of so you should have no real issues getting up and down but there are no street lights. Not sure I'd want to run up and down it in the dark. :)
They have it well marked so you can't get lost or miss your turn!

For future guest We do have charcoal and lighter fluid available on the property to Purchase. There is a sign on the refrigerator you might have missed. Also, if you get up here and need anything such as bags and aluminum full anything, just let us know and we’ll get it right to you
We want to make sure when you come here you don’t have to pack your house to have a wonderful vacation and still have a great price without breaking the bank and us still make a living

Perfect weekend
Publié le 15 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife and I celebrated our anniversary weekend here, and the cabin was everything we hoped for. Very secluded and private, with all the amenities needed on site. We took full advantage of the gun range, the hot tub, and the nature surrounding the cabin. The owners are extremely hospitable and very accommodating. We hope to come back someday.

All you need to bring is food and you would never have to leave. There is a commercial district about 20-25 minutes of scenic driving away for anything you could possibly need. They have wifi with a television setup if you would happen to want that, but there is plenty of outdoor activities to never have to stay inside. At&t
had 2-3 bars of service, Verizon none. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Perfect get-away spot
Publié le 3 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was better than described. Both of the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed hiking around the property, enjoyed shooting and soaking in the hot tub. The hosts were communicative and hospitable without being intrusive. I'd give it 10 stars if I could! We're already looking for another weekend when we can return!
