Holiday Inn Hayward is a fantastic property inside and out. It is well cared for, updated, and clean. Loved the beautiful lakeside grounds and it was in a perfect location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great complimentary breakfast, comfortable beds, very nice pool, hot tub and sauna.

I liked that property had outside amenities and was on a lake. Room we had was spacious and had a couch and two chairs so sitting wasn't limited to the beds. Bathroom was small but liked that sink vanity was separate so husband could shave while I showered. Breakfast had more variety than most hotels/motels. We'd stay again.

Nice property. Rooms were nice, but the pillows were awful. The walls must be thin cause we could hear the tv next door to us...and could hear them talking...not yelling...just talking. Owners must know walls are thin because they attempt to put a barrier between the wall and TV, so if you are a light sleeper and have neck issues this might not be for you. Other then that the property is very nice and clean inside and out and there is a nice walking path along the road that can get you to restaurants etc.

Thank you for sharing your experience. My apologies the pillows did not meet your needs, and you were disturbed by neighboring noise. Each bed does offer firm and soft pillow, I understand each individual has a preferred comfort level. I am please you enjoyed the walking trail and cleanliness of the hotels.
