Welcome to Bear Creek Lake Retreat!! We know you'll love our waterfront home as you make memories with family and friends. Enjoy your private beach, fishing, swimming, Kayaking, bon fire in the back yard. Enjoy sitting in the hot tub with an amazing view of the lake. Sleeps 14 with 5 bedrooms, and 2.5 baths, kitchen is fully stocked, sit at the dinning room table and have lake view while you eat, dining area has seating for 12 plus additional dinning space in game room, 2 living rooms one with a gas fireplace, and watch the wild life from the second floor living room especially in the evening, or play a game of pool, game room has foos ball, ping pong and corn hole.
This Beautiful Home is perfect for long Ski weekends, summer getaways. We are less then 10 minutes to Penn’s Peak where you can enjoy all kinds of concerts.
Big Boulder ski resort is close by, We are a short drive from the historic town of Jim Thorpe, There you can enjoy a Locomotive ride through Lehigh Gorge, theater, antiquing, restaurants and shops. Hickory Run State Park with it's beautiful lake complete with beach ,walking trails and fishing. Short ride to Camel Beach Water park, Casinos, Pocono Speedway, Movie Theater, Bowling, miniature Golf, Golf courses, State Parks, Horse Back riding, Fishing, Hiking, and much more. Whitewater Rafting, Biking, and the largest Paint Ball site on the east coast are within minutes. In addition to the many amenities within our community including an Olympic size pool, playgrounds, tennis etc. Or just kick back and do nothing!! You will love this House and location.

We had the best time! The house is beautiful. The place had plenty of space for our family and had everything we needed for a great stay. The land by the lake was dreamy and we loved using the kayaks/boat and the hot tub. The community was great - very walkable and some fun activities/amenities. We would definitely consider another trip in this home! 💗

Lovely Lake Getaway!
We loved our time on the lake with a combination of 6 adults and 6 kids ranging in age from 2-10 years old the house and property had plenty to offer for all! The downstairs layout was convenient for meal prep and the kids had a great time fishing and playing in the sand. Visiting the nearby boulder field and Scoops ice cream provided some offsite adventures as needed!

Wonderful week at the lake
We just got back from our week at this lake house and had a wonderful, relaxing time. The house has a great layout with a convenient entrance to a mud/play room with a bathroom right there for the kids. The kitchen was large enough for 3 adults to work doing dishes/prepping/cooking food. There was a lot of space for our group of 12 to sit to eat, as well as to relax in the living room. We used the hot tub all week and it was super hot (like it should be!) and relaxing. We used the kayaks and row boat often, and did a lot of fishing from the dock and the row boat as well. We caught some really large bass, crappie, and a million sunfish. We had every pot and pan we needed, even a griddle for pancakes, and there was plenty of large bowls and platters. The few times I reached out to the host she was quick to respond and happy to help. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to book again!

Peaceful and Relaxing
We stayed at this house for a bachelorette weekend, the bride was overwhelmed with the property and so ecstatic! We had the best weekend and the house was close to Jim Thorpe town which was very convenient! The property owner was very quick to respond to questions and very helpful as we were not familiar with the area! The house was immaculate when we checked in, the process was very easy! The property setting os absolutely beautiful, the water and firepit area, all of it was just amazing! We've already talked about planning our next stay there! Thank you King Family for an amazing place for us to make memories!

Weather could not dampen a wonderful weekend!
We just wrapped up a long weekend with a tropical storm! Despite the rain and wind we had a wonderful time in this cozy home! So grateful for the game rooms! Host was awesome, immediately responsive. Home was clean, cozy and perfect for gathering.

We had a group of 12 adults for a long weekend at this property. Everything was as advertised. Everything on the property was of a nice quality including the hot tub, beds, firepit, appliances, etc. The dock is on a beautiful spot on the lake. I would definitely book again for a large group.

Perfect As Always
Linda’s house is becoming an annual trip for myself, my wife, kids, and my in-laws. Can’t ask for a better house in the Poconos - right on the water, beach for the kids to play, hot tub, pool in the community center, a variety of boats to choose from, and a 10 minute ride to downtown Jim Thorpe. Linda is great to communicate with. We’ll be back next year!

We stayed here with our whole family which included 4 families. Space was great and backyard with lake access allowed for plenty of space for kids to run around. Home’s boats and kayaks were great and it’s nice that life jackets are available as well. Homeowners were very responsive to questions we had regarding hot tub.

Wonderful family getaway
We can't say enough about our stay here. The kids were always occupied, with the boats in the lake, the foosball and ping pong tables, the pool nearby with pickleball and a playground, and Jim Thorpe so close by, we even enjoyed white water rafting. The house was very accommodating, and we saw deer and fawns every evening, and one time a fox.

Wonderful Place!
We had a wonderful time here celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday and getting together with friends. We hadn’t seen in a long time. The hot tub is awesome with an automatic cover that just slides off so you don’t need muscles lol. The pool table has seen a lot of use, and is not level. If you’re looking for a championship play, it won’t do it. If you’re looking for a lot of fun and laughs, it’s great. There’s also ping-pong in a foosball table. Plenty for the kids to do. It was too chilly to take the kayaks on the lake as we had hoped, and there was a burn ban so we did not get to use the fire pit. But the property is wonderful. I definitely recommend it.

Beautiful home with beautiful view
We had a great time. Our goal for our annual family/friends ladies trip is to laugh, relax and have a good time. The home is well kept and has many amenities for everyone from kayaking, camp fire, hot tub, pool table and so on. You can sit and do nothing or get active and enjoy a beautiful view of the lake.
