Perfect spot to see the Aurora Borealis
Posted Sep. 30, 2024 on HomeAwayBeautiful spot. Rustic of course.
The road in is quite difficult. You need both the 4wd (which I had) and some offroading skills (which maybe I had less of). But Dave got us through it; picked us up inhis ATV and got our car out. If you do decide to try it yourself you need to commit to it. I got stuck because I was timid. Ideally get there before dark.

Quaint tiny home
Posted Sep. 17, 2024 on HomeAwayThe house was comfy. It’s very basic. The drive up was fun with 4 wheel drive an absolute necessity. Dave was very accommodating as I came in by mistake a day early. Denali is very close by. I saw the mountain:)
Thanks again

Secluded rustic cabin
Posted Sep. 10, 2024 on HomeAwayThe stay was amazing! We hiked to the lake on the property and saw three moose and felt like we were in actual Alaskan wilderness. The place was clean and had plenty of water in jugs for washing up and drinking

Beautiful
Posted Aug. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayBeautiful place. It's great to find a place away from others, no neighbors. We had everything we needed and the host was very nice and helpful.

Denali stay
Posted Aug. 23, 2024 on HomeAwayLovely little remote cabin! We really enjoyed being able to experience Alaska in a more rustic way! The cabin was warm and had a great view.

Cabin
Posted Aug. 9, 2024 on HomeAwayThe place was exactly as listed. The loft beds were comfortable, an extra fan for cooling and electric heater if needed. Friendly kind host! Great location to Denali Park.

Even if you have AWD or 4wd still have Dave take you up to the cabin, it's a narly road. I've lived in the interior of Alaska for 25 years and driven my share of steep dirt roads. The road up to the cabin was among the worst.
