Thank you for the vote of excellence. Most are surprised there is a full, cooked to order breakfast included that is served in our dining room. We are a real bed and breakfast. Thank you for being such nice guests. --Ann

Great place to stay

Excellent stay
Publié le 14 août 2022 sur HomeAwayThis was a beautiful place that the pictures don’t convey how lovely and warm the place was. This was one of the best breakfasts that I have had at a B and B. There were several rooms with comfortable chairs and wonderful views. I would highly recommend staying here.

Comfortable, great location
Publié le 13 août 2022 sur HomeAwayGreat location 20 minutes from the park, nearby restaurants, groceries, etc. Rooms were very comfortable. Owners were helpful in providing bear spray and binoculars, although seemed overwhelmed one morning when all the guests arrived for breakfast at the same time - recommend getting to breakfast at 7:30 or waiting until 8:15 if they’re busy. Overall great stay.

Thank you for the nice comments. Yes, since breakfasts are full, cooked to order breakfasts, it can get very busy if all guests choose to come at the same time. Each day is different. We do provide extras and extra attention. Thank you for being such nice guests! ---Ann

No sensitivity to customer needs
Publié le 29 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayI needed to push my checkout time back 1 hour. My request was immediately declined due to the owner having zero flexibility in granting my request. The reason being that new tenants, who by agreement cannot check in until 4 pm, might unexpectedly show up early. 4 hours early.
I have never stayed anywhere, where the need to extend check out was not granted to at least some extent. The complete lack of any flexibility was unfairly restrictive. Vacations need to have some wiggle room. In this case there was none.

You requested a last-minute, UNDEFINIED check-out time for two rooms. I am sorry. I could not accommodate your group without more notice and staff. You also asked for an early breakfast.
You report is inaccurate. Your new tour on your last morning with us ended in the Park at check-out time. You still had to travel back to Healy from the trailhead, shower, load up luggage, etc.
Before your arrival, you emailed that you could not come on the first night here due to overbooking by a day at a fishing lodge causing more scheduling problems. You DID arrive on that afternoon without notice to say you were coming. We accommodated your group.
On this site, our 4.9 rate in 22 reviews and 4.6 for 13 reviews for our other property does not reflect your rate. We provided beautiful, clean, safe accommodations, as promised. At what point do you take responsibility for scheduling your vacation?
