lovely rooms. Language problems

Publié le 19 nov. 2017 sur Expedia
Pour : Stated above
Contre : I don't know that it's incumbent on this hotel to improve anything. I just don't recommend for travelers from US who have less than 3 years mandarin
Emplacement : Can't, couldn't figure out.
The rooms are lovely and sumptuous. However, I only ever found one staff member who had any english, and that was on the last day. Also, my Mandarin, which is minimal, but worked fine in Guangzhou, was incomprehensible here where perhaps there are fewer foreigners. I could not ever figure out where the breakfast was. I finally moved to a hotel closer to the university, where more effort was made by staff to work with me to mutually communicate. Mostly this is a Chinese business hotel. They were unable to help with getting an interpreter or taxi to specific place, mostly due to the language problem.

Yin Rui Lin Inernational Hote. Stay

Publié le 14 déc. 2015
Pour : The beds and room service
Contre : The Spa did not appear to be open at any time I went by, but since I did not make any arrangements I am not sure if it opens on request only.
Emplacement : There was a Karioki in the Hotel, lots of functions going on in the hotel meeting areas during the weekend,
When I arrived at the Hotel, I was greeted by an English speaking receptionist who booked me into the room. The room was very comfortable, and the bed was provided with a soft western style mattress which surprised me since the hotel was of a Chinese style. The housekeeping staff provided extra waters on a regular basis, and turned down the daily gratuity I left until I insisted they take it. The Hotel provided a daily breakfast with the room, which was of a Chinese style but provided plenty of variety. The nature of my stay required me to extend from the original two nights to four nights. The first extension of one night was made without difficulty at the front desk, and the second extension for another night was made on line thru Travelocity. The type of restaurants in the neighborhood around the hotel were the small Asian restaurants (hot pot, noodles etc), but very affordable. Taxi to and from the South Railroad station took about 20 minutes. The stay was enjoyable.
