It is not worth the stay. Staff is courteous. Rs 500, govt safari ticket they charged us 2000+ with no addons( not even a bottle of water). We had to drive ourselves to to the safari pick up point and had to wait almost an hour to get a bus . We were under the impression that the safari is in exclusive vehicles since the charge was more than 4 times the govt charge. 20 mnts into the safari, we returned to pick up more tourist and there was not enough seats. Total ripoff Food is average. Not at all worth the money they charge.

Garden of Eden
Publié le 7 janv. 2022 sur HotelsPerfect experience in the middle of nature, waking to sounds of birds and eating the fruits and vegetable of the gardens. Ayurvedic massage was blissful. All the home cooked food was delicious. Will go back.

Nice resort for a quiet weekend
Publié le 28 sept. 2017 sur Expedia
Pour : Spacious rooms, good food, verdant & great place for a quiet weekend
Contre : Room service & the last stretch of road to the resort
Emplacement : On the banks of the Kabini - spectacular location. Jungle safari, coracle rides & a temple visit
Red Earth Kabini is a good weekend retreat from the chaos of Bangalore. Great drive from Bangalore with only the last stretch to the hotel being marred by a non existent road. That apart it's a lovely place to unwind. Very polite & attentive staff greet you on arrival. The rooms are very spacious with a very earthy feel. The jacuzzi seems a waste for families with kids - a hammock or a mini lawn would have been more welcome. It's a great feature for couples though.
The food is much better than the average resort fare with some dishes being truly spectacular. There's no room service which can be a bit tiresome especially in the rains. The bar is very reasonably priced with a great ambience. Perfect for a pre dinner drink & getting to know others at the resort. On the whole a lovely place that definitely will have you returning for more.

Pour : food and the staff in the dining area
Have been to many resorts, would consider this below par. Paid Rs 44000 for one night for four. On arrival was told I have to pay for the meals!! I told the guy hell with you and then he checks and says we don't have to!!
Asked to be taken on a boat ride. Obviously they do not have the permission. You go in your car to another resort and the end cost works out to 2000 per head for something that at jungle resort costs less than 1000. Everybody and his uncle are taking a cut.
The shower mixture in the room malfunctioned.
The staff specifically in the dining and the food is excellent.
