Fantastic stay!
Our stay at the Hotel Am Schloss in Heidelberg was fantastic. The hotel is in a great location to explore the old town. it is clean and comfortable. The best part is the amazing view of the castle! Great stay. Highly recommend!

Location was great, walkable to everything. No elevator though so it was difficult since we had alot of luggage and it was heavy. Airflow was stiff

I LOVED this spot, it was such a gem. The location is as good as it can get. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We were all very pleased with our stay! We also loved the breakfast, as we bounced around germany we missed our breakfast at hotel am schloss

Loved the proximity to the castle, shopping, and dining. The staff members were very helpful in recommending how to get to the train station. Our room layout (room #20) was a little strange and could be improved - the television is far from the bed and there is only one chair to sit on for television viewing - I think some re-arranging could make the room layout more functional. The shower drain was slow and the shower temperature would fluctuate greatly when other rooms would use their water. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the view out of our window. The breakfasts were delicious. It would be nice to be able to pour our own coffee/tea since it was sometimes difficult to find someone to take our coffee/tea order. Overall, wonderful stay!

Great Spot in middle of OLD TOWN.
My wife and I stayed here for 2 days October 2024. Perfectly located Right in the middle of the old town. Great hotel with decent breakfast, Personnel was very friendly and useful. Parking at the garage was easy and affordable as they offer a great discount for hotel customers. Park in the garage first and then check-in... it will be easier :-)

The property is located on top of a parking garage. Bus stop right outside. We stayed in room 20. Large area for luggage but small bathroom and shower. It is not as updated as some other hotels but was always clean and the staff were very courteous and knowledgeable about things to do in the area. Comfy pillows and blankets. Best of our trip so far. The view alone from the rooftop is worth 10 stars for this place. Sitting on the rooftop eating gelato and macaroons to end the day was amazing. Also, being able to look out and open my window overlooking the cathedral side of town was amazing as well. If I ever make it back to Heidelberg, I can't imagine staying amywhere else. There were some stairs we had to carry baggage up, so be aware, but well worth it!

This hotel is at the base of the castle. There are great views of the castle from the terrace. The property is very convenient to walk around the historic area of Heidelberg. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel is located at a prominent bus stop and requires an elevator ride to the 7th floor. We had the two-bedroom apartment with a HUGE terrace that was beneath the ruins of Heidelberg Castle. Located just a few blocks from the Altstadt pedestrian area, the hotel is a splendid spot for dining and shopping as well as sightseeing.
