Glad we only stayed one night!
Publié le 22 juin 2024 sur HotelsIt was okay! We couldn’t sleep that good because there was a large cockroach on the ceiling and it was crawling up and down on the wall. The bathroom door kept coming off the rails when we opened and closed the door. and there was no microwave in the room.

Quick anniversary getaway
Publié le 19 juin 2024 sur HotelsThe parking is a good bit away from some of the rooms so you have to carry all your luggage a decent ways which was a little struggle. The only breakfast available was the buffet for $18 per person and that didn't include the drink so we decided to just wait til we went into Helen to get breakfast at a more affordable price. The free shuttle from Unicoi to Helen was a big plus! It was much more relaxing to not have to struggle to drive around looking for decent parking and to know we had a guaranteed way to and from Helen! It was nice letting someone else drive! The lodge has a very peaceful atmosphere and being inside the park makes for a very relaxing stay! We would definitely stay again!

We're cockroaches all over the room killed 3 were 5 more on the walls

If you recall the room number for the room you stayed in we would appreciate it if you could let us know so we can do a deep and thorough inspection of that room. While it isn't totally uncommon for there to be an occasional bug in the lodge since we are located in a wooded location, this is extremely unusual, so we want to make sure this doesn't happen to another guest in the near future. We are so sorry that this happened to you.
