It was a wonderful experience and the fact the coral reef with its amazing sea life was right in front of our beach villa was spectacular!
Food was excellent amd service was best of our travels to many many destinations over the last 30 years!

Poorest resort in the world
Publié le 8 août 2024 sur HotelsI have a poorest experience in OBLU Helengeli resort. This is my fifth times to Maldives but the experience in the resort destroy my whole holiday with family. All the staffs and managers on the island are not helpful and friendly, they can not give helps when I have problems in doing the reservation or on board.
1. I do reservation on June, and I have tell the resorts I will come with a five years old child for several times already, they didn’t tell there is an extra charge until the full payment is made and non-refundable. I ask helps from the hotel.com and resort, they don’t think it is their business.
2. Once I get on the island, the staffs didn’t offer us any transport to the villa, and ask my family walk to the villa by ourselves. In the villa, no instruction how to contact the front desk. I walk to the front desk by myself and ask for 2 bottles of water, and no water after waited for 2 hours. If you want to ask for help in using the apps of the resorts, the staffs will show you a black face. The staffs played cell phone on duty. I feel strong race discrimination among the stuffs, I strongly recommend think twice if you are in yellow skin tone and want to go to the resort to have holiday. It can’t give you a normal resort services.
3. My family finally leave the island one days earlier than our reservation. Even it is non-refund, we give up our stay, go to another resort, leave the hell. The staffs are rubbish again, they fail to manage my speedboat time correctly

남편과 딸 우리 3명은 이곳의 아름다움과 섬세함 ,, 배려에
잊지못할 추억을 가지고 왔어요..
몇몇 신혼부부를 멀리서 봤는데 한국인인지는 알수가 없었구요..
호텔 1분거리의 바다를 하루에도 몇번씩 다녀왔네요....
해뜰때.. 해질때와 낮에도 휴식하다가 잠깐.. 몰디브의 바다는 꼭 봐야한다는 ㅋㅋ
하와이 칸쿤 여행후 몰디브 가족여행이었는데 이곳이 낙원이 맞네요!!
음료와 맥주등 언제나 채워주어서 번거러움이 없었구요..
부페 음식도 매일 바뀌어서 만족스러운 리조트 입니다.
담에 다시 가려고 합니다.

Alle Mitarbeiter (Empfang, Housekeeping, Köche am Buffet, Service im Restaurant und Bar, Boat Crew, Tauch Guides, Gärtner, SPA, etc.) waren ausnahmslos engagiert, freundlich, hilfsbereit und viele haben täglich gute Laune versprüht.
Schade fanden wir nur, dass es die Sitzsäcke auf der Veranda der Rezeption nicht mehr gab, wo wir früher täglich bei kalten Getränken und Fingerfood den Sonnenuntergang als noch ruhigere Alternative zur Poolbar genießen konnten.

In regard to your review, there are lovely sofa beds similar like beanbags that are placed at Raga Route sunset deck and hopefully you will be able to experience it on your next visit, also at bar we have nice hammock instead of those bags for guest to enjoy.
