The cottage was compact and well equipped for 2 people. I liked the quiet location and easy parking. I had two caveats: large downloads and streaming was prohibited on the wifi and guests were requested to change the bedding, make up the bed for the next guests arriving.

Posted Jul. 16, 2024 on HomeAwayThe perfect place to stay. Very peaceful and quiet. The house was exactly what we needed. Even laundry! Close to many wonderful hikes, waterfalls, hot springs and tons of bird for watching.

Perfect Getaway
Posted Mar. 28, 2023 on HomeAwayI stayed here in late march and it was perfect… not busy, northern lights vieable from the front door, and I felt almost as if I had the entire area to myself. A wonderful quiet getaway in a convenient location to the park. Cozy cottage was perfect!

Comfortable cottage in a beautiful setting
Posted Sep. 30, 2022 on HomeAwayThe cottage was very comfortable and in a perfect setting to explore the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. It’s not far from the sea, which you can see from the cottage. Good for self-catering or close to an excellent restaurant at the nearby Fosshotel. On a clear night, the stars were amazing, and there were great views of the northern lights! The property manager was very helpful and responsive. Can’t wait to come back!

nice cottage
Posted Sep. 21, 2022 on HomeAwayNice cottage with a big living room (compared to all other cottages where we were). We covered the camera in the living room as we didn't find that appropriate. Great view on the snaefelljökull and the sea, the latter unfortunately interrupted by some other cottages.

Thank you for your review Rolf. There is no camera in the house! Only a motion detector for the burglar alarm. Wish you had asked me about that.
