It was perfect, good value for money and a lovely quiet location. Staff were friendly and the rooms were lovely. Views were fab and the pub was povely too. Will definitely be returning!

What a lovely period place, but with all mod cons, to stay. Had a lovely meal in the pub, staff were lovely and the breakfast plentiful. What more could you want.

A great place as a base to visit Herefordshire. The food in the pub was all freshly cooked to order and there was a good selection of beers and wines. The staff were excellent particularly the bar manager (Cam), he was totally aware of customer needs throughout the pub.
The Arkwright room was a good size, well equipped and clean however, the stairs to the raised bed area could be a problem for some people and the bathroom is downstairs.
Overall, for us, it was exactly what we were looking for and the rates were very reasonable. The continental breakfast self served in the communal breakfast room was enough to set us up for the day. I would stay there again.
