An excellent hotel in the beautiful Wye Valley
Publié le 17 avr. 2018 sur HotelsI have stayed at the Bowen’s before but it is now under new management. The good news is the quality of service is just as good as before. The rooms are warm and comfortable with attention to detail (homemade cake and fresh milk in room). I would highly recommend the Bowens - beautiful hotel and great village location.

The accommodation is of extremely high class which is set within a high class area in a quiet village location.
It is a lovely quiet out-of-town area which is extremely peaceful and safe.
it is recommended for taking a car as buses run on the hour until 6pm as there are lovely sights to see.
Taxis are available which are clean and tidy.
It is an extremely lovely area for hiking if you do not want to go into Hereford and the surrounding towns.
The accommodation was immaculate.
It is of a separate accommodation from the house which consists of a very clean and well equipped bathroom and a good sized bedroom.
Breakfast is delivered to your room which is a bonus.
All in all a lovely high classed area and accommodation.
The owners could not have been more helpful.
It was a lovely break.

Lovely B&B, the couple were both very kind and welcoming and ensured we had a fabulous time. The breakfast was delicious, great quality local produce, really set our day off to a good start. The room itself was very cosy and comfortable, had everything you could possibly need with tea and coffee, a television with Roku box, umbrella, torch and walking map too which was just an extra special bonus especially if you like to go on walks/hikes.
I would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to return again. It was a peaceful, tranquil stay, which is just what we needed

Our hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. This was our 2nd stay and we would certainly go again.

Bowens is a fantastic family run Bee and be in lovely surroundings
And lots of thoughtful touches with great recommendations about the local area
Cooked breakfasts are absolutely amazing using locally sourced produce

A lovely stay
Publié le 16 juin 2024 sur HotelsI stayed alone at Bowens for the weekend and had a very pleasant visit. Host was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of pillows and blankets.
I couldn't fault the cooked breakfast, coffee and orange juice I chose. I also loved the fact you could have it delivered to your room or choose to have it over looking the lovely garden.
