Attention to Details
Posted Nov. 6, 2024 on HomeAwayFrom the bottle of wine and local bakery items to the soft sheets and towels, the attention to details made our stay so enjoyable. The house is super cute, and the decor is so charming. We had a little problem, but Paul and Heidi were so responsive.

Destination wedding
Posted Nov. 5, 2024 on HomeAwayWe loved the charming old home near the center of Hermann. The hosts were wonderful and had excellent knowledge of the town. They made us feel right at home.
The home was built in the early 1900s, but it has many modern amenities while keeping the beauty of the original home.

Perfect Host and Hostess

Songbird House Herman Downtown

Wish we could have stayed longer
Posted Oct. 21, 2024 on HomeAwayLoved the atmosphere of the house. The beds were a little too soft for our liking, but you can't please everyone. We were so busy settling into our new place we were only there to sleep.
I think there may be chipmunks or mice in the attic. They had a party every night :)

Great stay for Octoberfest!
Posted Oct. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayPaul met us at the house & gave us a tour. The house was clean & stocked with everything we needed. The muffins, wine & waters were a wonderful touch!
We were able to walk to everything downtown. There was a delicious coffee / pastry shop 1/2 block away. The trolley picked us up nearby.

Robin and her group were fantastic. We loved meeting them and, oddly enough, ran into them in town eating next to us at the Tin Mill Brewery. We hope they’ll return. They left the Songbird Haus in immaculate condition.

Charming, Cozy and Comfortable!
Posted Oct. 8, 2024 on HomeAwayMy sister and I chose this property to celebrate my mom’s 70 birthday. The house was perfect, comfy and absolutely immaculate. The owners were so thoughtful and welcomed us with wine, muffins and balloons for my moms birthday. You can tell the house is a labor of love for them with all of the attention to detail.

Hermann Family Trip
Posted Sep. 19, 2024 on HomeAwayPaul and Heidi were such amazing hosts. We were greeted at the house and given a quick tour of it and where certain things were located. The house is beautiful and very clean. It is in a perfect location and convenient to everything in town. We would absolutely stay there again!
