This property was more than we had expected… complete staff, room, food/ drink were all superior. Highly recommend The Thatch House! Exceeded expectations!

Unglaublich schönes Boutique Hotel. Sehr nettes Personal.
Jede Sekunde genossen wie noch nirgends sonst und ich war schon wirklich in vielen Top Hotels auf der ganzen Welt

from our welcome to departure we loved every moment, did not want to leave after 3 nights beautiful small hotel. intimate quiet. the rooms are simply gorgeous and the staff gentle attentive warm professional and caring. a soecial treat . Shee and Dids

My wife and I stayed in the Thatch House with our 11 month old baby. At the last minute, my in-laws also happened to be in Hermanus, unfortunately the Thatch House was fully booked but the staff were very helpful in arranging for them to join us for dinner and drinks at the hotel both nights. We had a wonderful stay and they were very accommodating of our young daughter - we particularly want to thank Michaela, who was so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful and set in immaculate grounds with stunning views. The pool was very welcome after a hot day in Hermanus and both the restaurant and breakfast were excellent.

The most perfect start to our holiday - a couple of days to recharge and relax at The Thatch House. Staff were superb in every respect and the hotel itself was just the most amazing place to be. We loved everything from start to finish and didn’t want to leave! THE best!
