Perfect holiday home

We were a group of 6 adults and 3 kids, 5, 3 and almost 3. The house was perfect for us. The kitchen is well equipped. Lots of pots and pans, crockery and cutlery. Great location, a minute from the beach. We loved it. Hope to return some time.

Such an enjoyable weekend at this property, with its great location just moments from the beach. Very comfortable for our group of 8 adults, not only with the spacious bedrooms but also inside and outside dining space and sitting rooms. Host was great - helpful and very quick to respond.

Stay at 2 East St Herne Bay

What a find. Eight family and friends spent time together celebrating my husband's birthday. A warm inviting period house. Plenty of room for 8 of us. Great garden. Beds really comfortable and big rooms. We spent lots of time in the house as it felt so special. Kitchen well equipped. Very attentive host. The Ship Inn was friendly. Highly recommended.

We had a fabulous time in Herne Bay, the house location is ideal for exploring - close to the beach and not far from the high street. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. Another shower would have made things a little easier, and the Ship Inn at the end of the road is not on our recommendation list(!), but these minor things did not marr our enjoyment of the house and our weekend in Herne Bay. Jo is a great host!

The location is brilliant and the house exactly as described. It worked perfectly for a group of friends at New Year with two little ones who slept soundly on the top floor while the adults ate and drank in the dining room. Jo was a great host and very easy to communicate with. Thanks again

Family Christmas

Everything about this rental was excellent, from the booking process onwards. The house is situated very close to the sea and the High Street. It is beautifully presented. All the decoration is in keeping with the style of the house. The Christmas decorations were perfect. There were ten of us, ages ranging from 7 to 74. There was plenty of space for all of us to play games, watch TV or just spend time together, We all had a fabulous time. Thank you.

Beach House

Found this property at the last minute for a family gathering of 8 people. The house was large enough to accommodate everyone in their own rooms, with lots of communal space to get together. Very well stocked with everything you need for a home away from home. The location was excellent, so close to the beach, promenade, shops and restaurants. Jo kindly recommended a few restaurants, two of which we booked Casa mia and Ala Turka (both were excellent). Lots of places to explore. We walked to Whitstable (the coastal path leads all the way 4+ miles). We got a cab back! For a bit of history, we drove to Reculver to visit the Roman fort. Oh yes, and the weather couldn't have been better.
