The Suites at Hershey - 2 Bedroom Reviews

Our issue was not with The Suites at Hershey but with the booking. We booked in February for a stay in July. Two days before we were to check in, we got a call from VRBO saying that our four-night reservation had been canceled because they couldn't reach the owner of the unit we were meant to stay in. They were able to re-book a different unit at the same property, but it was for just two nights. The communication during this process was terrible. VRBO said they would text us all the details of our new booking, but they never did. I went to check in not actually knowing whether we were confirmed or not. They refunded us for the two nights they had canceled but charged us the full amount for cleaning and booking fees, despite the fact that we would then have to book another stay somewhere else and pay those fees again on the second stay. Had the cancellation not occurred, we would have enjoyed our stay very much. The condo itself was nice and clean, and the pools and amenities were great, as was the proximity to Hersheypark. The only downside to the property is the very active train tracks behind it that keep you up all night (unless you have good ear plugs). Other reviews stating that you'd get a hard sell on buying a timeshare upon arrival were not true in our experience.
