Publié le 13 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property owner was there waiting on us as we arrived. She made sure we had everything we needed. She gave us a quick overview of all of the area. The cabin was clean and well equipped. The area is quiet and centrally located.

Publié le 25 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is a duplex right on the highway so it’s pretty noisy. The place is very dark to me. Doesn’t have the windows and indoor lighting for it to be nice. Had an older musty smell and shower head was pretty crusty. The stairs to the creek are very dangerous and in need of a stable railing not the rope they have. If you have any physical disabilities it would not be a safe place. The owner was super nice and friendly. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this place for the reasons I listed. I give it a 2 1/2 stars

Wonderful guest nice clean polite well plenty windows nice lights on the beautiful Hiawassee River very clean may be you should have gone to the Holliday Inn it sure would have paid more and the traffic of town and sireners all night and not our beautiful River the place is lysol and bleeched after stay and it has been raining alot no crusty????? shower head please you could have said the good things i try why didn't tell me ? I rated you good i didn't be rude i came home after letting you in and i told him these people rude and not happy i was right i tried!!!!

Exactly what we wanted!

The river running behind the property was perfect for relaxing and cooling off from the heat. Its 15 minutes from Helen and well located. We cant wait to come back again next year!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The creek behind the cabin was the main reason we chose the cabin and it did not disappoint. The location was extremely convenient to Helen, GA. The owner was very helpful with suggestions of places to go sightseeing. Definitely a place we'd love to stay again.

What a beautiful slice of paradise!

I found this property and we decided to give it a try. We are so glad that we did! We loved the cabin/house and adored the creek! We had coffee there every morning and thoroughly enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit. The sound of the water was so relaxing and peaceful! The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful! Willene was so sweet and helpful with her suggestions for things to do in the area and she definitely thought of everything in the cabin! The bed was soooo comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was fantastic, the kitchen was equipped with about everything, there was loads of firewood for the fire pit - it was all just awesome! We will be returning here again and can't wait for our next visit! We were seriously sad when it was time to go. Counting the days until we can return! Thank you for the perfect short anniversary getaway!
