Nicely decorated 3 bedroom/1 bath home on a large lot in an established neighborhood. This property is centrally located in the town of Taylorsville. And approximately 17 miles from Wilkesboro, Lenior, Statesville, and Hickory. So if you are coming to the area for the Apple Festivals, Balloon Rally, Emerald Hollow mines, paint ball tournaments, Rocky Face rock climbing, MerleFest or just to get away, this is your home away from home!

New puppy trip
We needed a one night stay, so we could pick up our new puppy the next day. Kim's place was perfect! Such a lovely and charming house. Plenty of space, and had all the comforts on hand. It's in a safe, quiet neighborhood, and it's very clean. If we're ever up this way again, we won't hesitate to stay here! Thank you, Kim!

Very nice for our first vrbo stay. Lots of extras. We didn’t need a thing! Bigger than we needed for just the two of us. Places to stay close to family were very limited. Worked great for us!

Perfect Home For Anyone
We enjoyed our time. Plenty of space and close to a really cool little coffee shop down the street. Kid friendly with games and toys and a lot of room to run around in the backyard for epic hide and seek! Internet is wicked fast. Grocery store within walking distance.

Grandbaby time!
We went for w/e to spend time w/our new grandbaby. House was 10 muns away, so it was perfect. The house was great! Clean, comfortable & everything we needed. We played games, enjoyed local places to eat & held baby alot! We will definitely be back! Would recommend blinds in living room but everything was really perfect!

Apple Festival Weekend
My cousin and I came up for the Apple Festival….our mothers (sisters) used to come to the mtns every October to celebrate their birthdays and we did this as a way to remember them and hopefully make it an annual event. The house was in a very convenient location and was very comfortable and welcoming (reminded me of our grandmother’s home….loved the creaking hardwood floors and vintage vibe!) The only suggestion that I would make is to add shutters, sheers or some type of window covering for the living room windows….we felt a little uncomfortable at night with no covering over the living room windows….otherwise, no complaints and we hope to return for another stay! 😃.

This place was perfect for us. Grocery store nearby and restaurants weren't too far away. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house was clean and everything we needed was there. The only thing missing was hand soap in the bathroom.We bought some and refilled the bottle that was there.

Wonderful stay!

AMAZING HOME
Kim and her husband are amazing host. we couldn't have asked for a better place to relax while we were stressing to find a place to relocate in NC. Anything we needed they had an answer back to us quick they let us check in early with driving from NE the last 18 hours! Definitely will be recommending their place! Plus you can’t go wrong with all the things they leave for you to do in their home. So many personal touches it felt very at home.

Beautiful cozy home away from home
We had a wonderful time in Kim's house, which is decorated with lots of attention to detail and love. Kim was an excellent host, great communication and we loved the personal touches like welcome board and treats. The house was well-equipped for our everyday needs. The neighborhood was quiet and safe with kind neighbors and a supermarket right around the corner. The crisp fresh air in the morning and the smell of the patio flowers reminded me of my childhood in my small hometown village in Germany. We will stay again whenever we are in the area!

Home away from home
This property was beautiful and had all the space we needed while visiting family. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more to cook. The children enjoyed the twin bed room, the laundry room was so helpful, it was just a great space. The whole house had nice touches that Kim had placed to ensure her guests’ comfort. There were games and a nice outdoor area too. It was way better than a hotel for our needs and we were really thankful. My 6’4” husband was a little challenged with the height of the shower but he’s taller than average so that goes with the territory. While we were there storms came through and Kim reached out to make sure we were okay and had power. She is a great hostess! I highly recommend this place!

Darling home
We have stated at many VRBOs, and this by far is the most well equipped, stocked home we have ever been in. Anything that you could possibly need is here. Including extra towels, blankets and such. It was a perfect home for my husband and i. We each had a room to put our luggage and spread out. The bed is super comfy. We were there for the NASCAR All Star race at North Wilkesboro speedway so the location was perfect. Definitely would recommend and will stay again! Communication was amazing and quick. Always a response. Thank you again for all your amazing time, effort and thoughtfulness in your home. Oh and the water pressure is awesome
