Horrible weekend!!!
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were not able to enjoy our stay at the property because one of the bedrooms had bed bugs!! Even the walls and light fixtures we were 3 families with kids and we were really dissatisfied and disappointed that this beautiful home had bugs everywhere in the bedrooms, also one the bathrooms toilet doesn’t flush so it was really inconvenient for us to fill up a bucket every time you had to use the bathroom, the location is perfect for staying specifically if you have kids that likes to explore the woods lol but sadly we were unable to enjoy anything!! Hopefully the property manager can fix this but definitely we won’t be able to come back or recommend this property.

Very relaxing

Family lake vacation
Publié le 15 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location with access to water’s edge for wading, comfortable beds, adequately stocked kitchen for minimal cooking of prepared foods, plenty of space for six adults/three kids. Quick drive to Shiloh Marina and Tannenbaum Golf Course. Something to note is that there is no dishwasher, but scrubber and dish soap is provided. Would stay here again with this group.

Worst experience ever dealing with vacation rental
Publié le 5 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe didn’t get to stay in the rental we booked. The host did not check the propane tank and it was EMPTY! We were only offered to stay in a condo that only part of our group could stay and to PAY ANOTHER RENTAL MORE MONEY. The condo, was nothing I would have reserved to say the least. We were given half of our money back for the original rental. Since, asking for a full refund since we had to pay for another rental, they have now ghosted me. Absolutely ridiculous service. I would never consider renting from this host again. We are very disappointed.

Kristen, I am really disappointed in your review. Seeing as how we had an unfortunate gas leak, causing the house to be out of gas at the time of your arrival, the guest that checked out before you that morning had no issues so we were unaware. I wish you would have stated in your review that i personally searched and found the only available rental in the area that would fit most of your group, we offered our small condo for no charge to accommodate the other guests. It was the only option we had on New Years Eve weekend at the last minute, I'm sorry again that it wasn't something you would have personally booked. I refunded you the full amount we received from your booking, The amount that wasn't refunded was vrbo fees and that is out of my control. We did everything in our power to save your trip and not have to leave you without a place to stay. No one ghosted you as I communicated to you several times that the money that had not been returned would have to be disputed through vrbo as it was out of my control. Not to mention that your group left the other rental that we found for you in an awful mess with broken items and soiled linens. Again I apologize for the gas leak causing so many issues but in my opinion we did everything in our power to resolve the issue. Thank you for your feedback, I hope I cleared up anything that may have been miscommunicated.

Almost perfect
Publié le 26 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayIt’s was great but there just a few minor inconveniences. Some lamps didn’t have lightbulbs. Some ceiling fan remotes didn’t have batteries. The light over the cars table didn’t work. The internet was extremely slow and we only had 4 roll of toilet paper and a couple of small trash bags for 15 people staying 5 days.
All VERY minor but would have definitely made this a 5 star stay.
