Musty odor, felt like mold. Not clean, large ants inside, loose toilet, water pump turning frequently changing water pressure ant temperature. Barbecue rusty and dirty. Lots of dirty yard furniture, had to uninvite my friends who were supposed to join us. Generally very unpleasant experience. Would normally expect refund
I would recommend removing this cottage out of your site. If required, I have pictures of condition at this cottage.

We appreciate your feedback and I am truly sorry you felt that our cottage did not meet your standards, as we have had wonderful reviews from other renters on other booking sites.
After you decided to leave early, we did go there ourselves to observe this smell you reported, and unfortunately, we did not find that there was any smell issue at the property.
Our cottage is priced lower than many cottages in the area because it is an older cottage with older indoor/outdoor furniture.
It is mentioned in our ad that the water comes from a well, and as such, the pump comes on as necessary. We do thank you for mentioning the loose toilet and the barbecue. We were not aware and will have that fixed immediately.
