This is a beautiful two bedroom/two bath home (sleeps 6 with sleeper sofa)near Franklin N.C. The cabin offers absolutely awesome panoramic views overlooking the Iotla Valley and the distant Blue Ridge Mountains. The cabin has a covered deck with rockers, porch swing, and ceiling fans so you can totally relax while enjoying the view.

We offer all the amenities one could want including a fully furnished kitchen, living room with fireplace,tv/vcr/dvd, satellite dish, an outdoor gas grill and ceiling fans throughtout the cabin. The cabin is air conditioned through the summer months. It is close to all the activities that will make your vacation a very memorable one.

We are just ten minutes from downtown Franklin which offers many interesting shops and museums, including the Ruby City Gem museum and the only Scottish museum in the U.S. There are many wonderful events in Franklin, including a free concert for all the family called "Pickin' on the Square" from May to October. There is a family arcade called "The Factory",the "Whistlestop Antique Mall", and movie theatres.
The surrounding area offers many outdoor recreational opportunities including hiking in the National Forests, tubing on the Little Tennessee River, gem mining (at least five gem mines within fifteen minutes from your vacation spot.) White water rafting, canoeing, and kayaking are popular on several nearby rivers. The Nantahala River offers great fly fishing only forty minutes away.

Located near Highlands with many scenic waterfalls and Dillsboro with great shopping and train rides through the mountains on the original railroad line. The Biltmore Estate in Asheville is within easy driving distance, as is the Harrah's Casino in Cherokee.

Absolutely beautiful!
I randomly came across this home when searching for a place for my husband and I to just get away for a little R&R. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short once we saw Hurricane Helene predictions for NC Smokey Mountains and only stayed two nights. Despite this we still enjoyed the time we did have and the amazing view from the front porch. Home was very clean and cozy! Booking was easy and communication with the owners were exceptional, courteous and information was thoroughly given. We loved it so much that we will definitely plan another trip to this exact home in the future!!

A perfect trip
Our first impression upon arrival was "oh my! Look at that view!" The swing and rocking chairs made it perfect. When we entered the cabin, immediately we felt at home. We had everything we needed. It was so nice to be able to prepare meals and just be able to relax without having to go out and eat every meal. Most of our time was spent sitting on the porch. The ringing of the church bells added to the amazement of our home away from home. We are planning a longer stay in October so we can look for our new place to spend the rest of our days. Im hoping to meet our wonderful hosts on one of our return visits. Thank you Michael and Robin Miller for sharing your beautiful cabin with us.

Truer words were never said. This place was immaculate, which is of highest priority to me and it was the best view we’ve ever had when we did a rental in the mountains. Communication with the owners was easy. They were very responsive & kind. I wish I could give it a 6 star rating!

Beautiful views of the mountains from the porch of this cozy cabin!! Amazing sunrise & stars on a clear night! Close to Franklin for shopping & restaurants, hiking trails, waterfalls… so many things to do. Or just relax & enjoy the views from the rocking chairs on the porch! Michael was a great host! You Won't Want to Leave the Porch
I was looking for a cabin that had big, open views where, after sightseeing, shopping, etc., I could spend the rest of the afternoon and evening on the porch. This was the perfect spot! The cabin is at the top of a hill overlooking the valley (don't forget the binoculars). Even so, there are homes all along the road up to the cabin, so while it was very private, it didn't feel isolated. I was in Franklin a couple of hours early and texted the owners, who responded immediately and let me check in. The cabin is stocked with everything you could reasonably need and was very comfortable and homey. The listing and pictures are accurate, and I would definitely book this listing again.

A little slice of Smokey Mtn Heaven!
Our trip was a quick decision and thankfully Robin and Michael had availability. They were responsive and emailed us all of the information and texted as well. The home was cozy and inviting! We were not at all disappointed. The location was amazing, They call it a little slice of smoky Mountain heaven and let me tell you it’s heaven! I was thankful I read through the guest book and found out the church ring bells in the morning. It’s absolutely amazing. The stay was affordable and had everything we needed! The hosts were wonderful and I can’t wait to come back! We saw deer twice, and loved the Mountain View’s.

great little cabin., a little smokey when we arrived. the driveway going into the cabin was a little steep and hard to see but the manager corrected as soon as it was brought to his attention and had the leaves blown off and reflectors added
