Perfect house, bad communication
Publié le 27 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property and house is so perfect. Comfy beds, very cozy, full spices, etc. definitely above and beyond most rentals like this. The house was about 2 miles from town and such an easy drive in and out
I have to knock some points off though because I could not communicate with the host at all. I sent a couple separate messages through the app prior to the reservation and never heard back. When we arrived at the house we had a key that didn’t work and couldn’t get in and the realty agency never answered my calls. Luckily I hit the video doorbell button and the house owner shared the door code through the video.
Otherwise everything else was perfect and we loved this stay so much.

I am so sorry the realty office was out of touch while you were here.
We are a small three-person office, and there was an unexpected death of one of the owners that unfortunately caused some phone calls and emails to be unanswered.

Very disturbing that our host never responded to our emails prior to arrival. We had questions regarding possible storm damage. Even worse we had no check in information whatsoever. VRBO could not help us either. I left at least 5 voicemails with CHAMBERS and finally found a location to inquire about a check in process. Still to date we had no word from host except to process payment.

Thanksgiving in Highlands

Perfect space for our family and grandparents, lots of tv’s but also cute radio that allowed us to disconnect and just enjoy. Beautiful fire place with wood available. Highlands has great restaurants and lots of outdoor areas to discover (waterfalls and lakes, etc…).

Publié le 13 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at this VRBO for the Highlands Food & Wine festival and it was the perfect location, only 5 minutes from downtown! The home had plenty of space and everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The only issue we had was that the keys provided did not unlock every door so we accidentally locked ourselves out one day, but the property management company quickly provided a solution. This had no impact on our overall stay, which was excellent, but I would just suggest the management company consider rekeying all doors the same.
