Wedding Weekend Success

Adorable Home - perfect location

There was a beautiful pond at the end of the road that you pass to get to town. Seriously couldn’t ask for a better location. The beds were comfortable and our best memories were at the ping pong table in the garage!

Family Reunion at 4118 Feet
Publié le 26 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayHad a great weekend family reunion at Laird’s place! Perfect location for unwinding and escaping Ga heat with kids and grandkids. Younger kids loved catching fish in Harris Lake, only two doors down from property—worms available at gas station. Easy walk to town to lunch or shop was a big plus also! Grilled steaks on large deck—plenty of clean kitchen items and good dishwasher! (Follow rules on bear-proof garbage bins—they’re there for good reason!)
Easy communication with Laird about directions, check-in, etc.—thanks again—will be back!

Take a stroll
Publié le 15 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe rented this property for part of a bridal party. They loved the house especially the game room in the basement. Perfect for a group of young adults and the location to town is great. None of the guests had ever been to Highlands and they loved being able to walk to everything and it was great for the wedding party to get to Old Edwards. Thanks for allowing us to rent would highly recommend.

Great stay for our wedding

Wedding weekend
Publié le 21 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect place to stay for a family wedding at Old Edwards! We easily walked to Main Street and all the restaurants and shops!! Beds were very comfortable!! My only suggestion is small bottles of shampoo in the bathrooms and small body wash in place of the soap!! Only a suggestion bc the house is perfect!

Great for a large family!
Publié le 11 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here for a long weekend for a wedding and it was perfect! so much room for our whole family of 7 with two living areas - great because a couple of us had to do some work on Friday and needed quiet away from the rest of us.
We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Highlands
Publié le 10 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property, house and location are really good. Walking distance to town, lots of room in the house and very good neighborhood (Harris “pond” area).
We had a little trouble getting into the house (code didn’t work). I was on the phone for about 2:30 trying to work through VRBO agents - LOTS of on-hold time. Kind of disappointed in owner not being aware of the trouble - assumption made that all would go well. But, super nice and apologetic for the inconvenience, even offering free night stay and “dinner on her.” Could not have asked for more from her. Bless her!
