Excessive Pet Fee!
Publié le 5 août 2024 sur HotelsThe hotel was great! What wasn’t great was finding out that it’s a $75 fee to have my dog. I booked on Hotels.com, and this hotel said pet friendly, but no mention of an extra fee. And $75 seems EXCESSIVE.

Thank you for the feedback and thank you for the kind remarks about the hotel. I went back to the website you confirmed with; hotels.com and at the bottom of the first page, it show a section with a header of "At a Glance" where you'll find the Pets Policy. It states that "Pets allowed (dogs and cats only, 2 total, up to 75 lbs per pet); Food and water bowls and off-leash area available. The pet fee is assessed so the hotel can turn the room back over to like new, non-allergy for the next guest. We have a strict cleaning process with Hilton that takes longer labor hours, more chemicals, maintenance cleaning with filters, machine for odor control, supplies for hair removal, and upholstery cleaning the fabrics in the room. We also use supplies to clean up after pet waste and labor associated with lawncare and control. While it may seem expensive, Pet Rooms are more expensive to maintain. I would be happy to discuss further if needed. please reach out to us at 385-245-1305 to discuss further.
