Peaceful, private and comfortable

This was divine intervention, for Lakeview Cabin was exactly what we needed as a place for rest, reflection and to renew. Owners are fantastic hosts and we needed nothing in unusual supplies. Highly recommend as family getaway with plenty of activities. Blue skies!

I certainly think so. It's a wonderful retreat for families, friends, or small Bible study groups. We have several cabins on our property.

Great Escape

My family loved our weekend gateway

Great stay but lake access was to tricky
Publié le 8 août 2024 sur HomeAwayKatherine was awesome to work with and the bedrooms were lovely. It was a touch smaller then I had imagined from the pictures.
We brought the right games and they kept everyone busy which saved us that were at the house on Sunday. Half went on a fishing trip I missed the water though. Will probably stay at a waterfront house next year

Perfect fit for family gathering.
Publié le 17 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayHome was well stocked and had everything needed to prepare meals and be comfortable. The foosball and ping pong table were a hit. Woods are teeming with life and the lake is perfect. We used the canoe and kayaks provided and our whole family really enjoyed the stay and felt at home. It is a short walk from the house to the water so getting the boats there is a bit of a challenge. Me and my teenage sons carried them down no problem and they had wheels to strap to them for easy transport. Just something to be aware of. Big fire ring was perfect and our kids had frog catching contests each night. Catherine and her husband were a delight and I would definitely stay here again.

Quiet Getaway

Property is wooded and peaceful.
One suggestion though - please put window coverings in bedrooms and front room.

Thanks for your review. I love that you enjoyed the beds and stocked essentials. We are surrounded with a forest of trees and beauty. We love having our guests experience that. I do provide a few eye masks for those who want to block out the sun. Sorry, this was a surprise. I do describe having lots of windows, as we like to bring the outdoors in. I will consider having more eye masks available for sure.

I am so glad you enjoyed the property. Yes, It has been a rainy season and the water levels are higher than usual. I encourage all my guests to call or text with any concerns or question. There are other places on the property to launch kayaks or canoes besides the Corp park.
