Great view, not too far from Hillsborough. Some rooms don't have AC. The staff is very welcoming, it was a good experience.
Belle experience a quelques centaines de metres du centre, une vue incroyable, une tranquillite qui illustre bien Carriacou. Un personnel a l'ecoute et tres accueillant. Une bonne experience.

Nous avions cru réserver un appartement avec cuisine (pour nous faire à manger). C'est ce qui était décrit sur la réservation que nous avons reçue d'Hotel.com.
Mais, à notre arrivée, la responsable de l'établissement nous dit, qu'à ce prix, nous ne pouvons avoir qu'une simple chambre; le prix d'un appartement est le double !
A vous de connaître exactement ce que vous réservez pour vos clients.

Very nice hotel in a paradise islant, Cariacou
Publié le 21 mars 2014 sur ExpediaThe Grand View Hotel is well named. We were staying on room #1 and the view was stunning. The room was a little bit small but very nice and clean. The AC was very useful. It’s very hot and humid in Carriacou but at night, the room was very comfortable.
During our stay, the hotel was almost empty. It was very quiet and the staff was amazing. Shirley, the owner, it always there to help us, give some advice and help us to find buses and/or taxi to go wherever we want on the island. Breakfast are very good and cheap.
The hotel is not far from downtown Hillsburgh. A 10 minutes’ walk will bring you to the port, bus station, some restaurants and other facilities. It’s very easy to find transportation on the island.
About Carriacou, it’s a must! We were visiting Grenada from Canada for 10 days and decided to spend 3 days in Carriacou. We’ve been amazed. Local people living there are among the kindness people we’ve ever met. Everyone says hi and want to help you if you need. What’s why I said it’s easy to find transportation on the island. If you don’t find a bus, someone will offer to bring you wherever you want to go.
Two must see: Anse La Roche beach (hard do reach but it’s worth the 45 min hicking on a cliff and forest) and Sandy Island.

The kind owners of the Carriacou Grand View Hotel helped us immensely in organizing easy transportation and wonderful excursions on the island. Our comfort and satisfaction was a priority for them throughout our one-week stay.
we could. We never regretted our decision seeing how difficult That was a good decision On different occasions chose not to rent a car and use buses that go all over the island instead.

Set on a hillsview, you capture the beauty of the valley just below and seaview in the distance.
This property is very peaceful and quiet. If you're looking for relaxation....that's the ideal spot....and few minutes away from the town with the local cuisine from lots of vendors.
I'll be back!

Incredible view of the harbor! Good breakfast! I suggest you text the owners when you will arrive. The ferry can leave late and if you arrive around 8:30 pm then take taxi to place you will arrive around 9:00 pm. If you stop and eat in town it could put you over their 10:00 pm check in period. We got our room but we should have texted them when we got off the ferry.
