Hotel recent, propre , bien situé mais sans ame. Bien pour un court séjour. Rapport qualité prix inférieur a ce qui peut exister dans les environs. Mais a Carriacou il n'y a pas beaucoup de choix.

We stayed at the Mermaid Beach Hotel over the Christmas period. Jude our host was wonderful and I cannot speak more highly of her. However, we were very disappointed with the property itself. We booked this hotel as it was advertised that it included a beachside restaurant and bar. However, this was not the case and the hotel restaurant and bar was shut the entirety of our stay (except for when they opened for a private corporate Christmas party that went until 2am). Carriacou completely shuts down over Christmas for 4 days so we had limited access to food. It would have been nice for the owners to contact us so that we could have made alternate arrangements over the holiday period. We also advised the hotel through Expedia that we would be arriving for a late check in, however we never heard back from the hotel and then found out the property had been taken off expedia for future bookings. When we arrived late at night the hotel was completly shut up, and we had to make alternate accomodation arrangements which was an additional out of pocket expense. Jude was amazing and has been with the hotel for years, however the owners need to take more care when booking guests into their property.

Best location to stay in Hillsborough, the oceanfront room was large and comfortable and the gorgeous beach below was a delight. The staff were friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend the Carriacou breakfast!

Definitely one of the best locations on the island. The view and ambience is everything to die for. Thank you for your response and your recommendation. It was a delight serving you and we take pleasure in caring for every one of our guests by trying to meet every one of their needs while on the island.

The manager and assistant manager were excellent! They were willing to help with anything and everything! I loved everything about that place: staff, services, location, and breakfast!

Carnival

Overall a pleasant stay, good breakfast which was included in the price, staff were pleasant, particularly when they became familiar with u. A bit noisy at night /early hours of the morning g, but it was carnival weekend. This was very interesting.
