Lots of stairs
Publié le 15 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt's a very nice place to stay, but the layout is a bit odd. You must be able to mount all the steep stairs to get to the kitchen. One of our party was barely able to manage steps so we did not use the kitchen for cooking. If you have small children and plan to use the bedroom with kids room attached, be aware the kids' room has free access to the kitchen and the stairs. It would be helpful if there were more surfaces for setting things and more storage or hooks.

My only cautions are two flights of stairs and the old wood floors are creaky so light sleeper will definitely be woken up when others are moving around the place.

Made sure to answer quickly with any questions we had and even made sure the refrigerator was stocked with water and breakfast food. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay at this property again.

5 Days Stay for Family Reunion
Publié le 9 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe visited Hillsdale for a family reunion taking place in Osseo and stayed at this apartment for 5 nights. Our stay was very pleasant and the place was very nice and comfortable. The owner had stocked the fridge with bottled water and a little food that made the stay even nicer. My wife and I had reserved the place due to the location and amenities but it was too much space for just us two with 4 bedrooms. An out of state family with two small children stayed with us a couple of the nights and the layout could not have been more perfect. The 4th bedroom in the upstairs has child bunkbeds with a master bedroom next door and the family took this space while my wife and I stayed down one floor on the main floor. They had their privacy and we had ours. The main entry is a private entrance on the street level with a common hallway going up to the main floor of the apartment (2nd floor of building) and then the stairway continues up to the top floor (3rd floor of building). On the main floor, you have a bathroom, a living room, a bedroom with a twin bed and a bedroom with a queen bed. All room are separated from each other by doors and an AC unit cools them all. Access to a washer and dryer is on this floor. On the top floor, the apartment has a master bedroom with a Queen bed and AC separated by French doors from the kids room with the bunkbeds and then a kitchen, dining room, and bath #2. There were even some toys and books for the kids. It was just perfect and a lovely stay!

Family Wedding Weekend
Publié le 4 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayLoved the location, as walked to restaurants, walked to farmers market at courthouse. We were there for a family wedding at Hillsdale College. Owner/Heather was very nice and helpful with questions. Wonderful place for family to stay!
