Attitude Adjustment!

We have another vacation home we rent and have enjoyed meeting people and being a part of them making great memories here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Altitude Adjustment is an addition to our vacation homes and feel you will fall in love with our cozy log cabin Beautiful log home just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Incredible Mountain View and fresh air in a private setting. Two bedrooms and two bath. Toiletries provided, large pull out couch in living room. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, electric stove and refrigerator with ice maker. Ceiling fans in all rooms. Gas log fireplace, heating and air conditioning. Large covered back porch with rocking chairs and propane grill and picnic table. Full size washer and dryer detergent provided. All linens provided. Plenty of blankets and pillows. WiFi password on side of refrigerator along with other important numbers. We have provided a free landline it is in the main bedroom for local and long distance calls within the U.S. Cell service not very good but can use the landline or WiFi to text. Verizon seems to be best. This is why we love living here in the mountains. You can still be in touch but not bothered with urban issues and noise. All amenities you need to get away, relax and enjoy nature in a quiet setting but close to several points of interest and things to do. Located just off Blue Ridge Parkway and Hwy 52 and Interstate 77. Just 18 miles to Mt Airy, NC home of Andy Griffith, close to several wineries, Galax home of the Annual Fiddlers Convention, Blue Ridge Mountain Center, the New River where you can kayak, fish hike, bike and horseback ride. Several annual festivals as well as the Memorial Day and Labor Day giant flea market in Hillsville. You Have to experience to enjoy the mountain experience. Discount for seven or more nights please inquire. Pet friendly $25 one time fee can pay at check in.

A view to remember
A view near, as in multiple buck, does, and a fawn in the yard as we sat out and chatted, and far that's beautiful day and night will keep us coming. It was supremely quiet in a birders paradise. The cabin was also very well stocked and we wanted for nothing.

Cozy spot just off the blue ridge parkway. Clean and comfortable. Linda was very easy to communicate with. We were visiting family for the holidays, and the property was a great home- base.

Great Experience
I had a wonderful time at Attitude Adjustment. This was my first visit and it was quite memorable. My child and I had a blast. The cabin was clean and the owner provided much of what we needed to keep us comfortable throughout our stay. We had a great experience and will definitely come back. This experience was exactly what we needed... :-)

View was good, but . . .
Several glitches when we arrived. No code to access key and we had to go to a neighbor to get them to call the owner for a code. Which they did. We weren't able to get the Dish TV operational and had no local channels when we did, renters were advised to take short showers due to water shortage and dishwasher was not operational during our stay. However, the owners were very willing to respond to the television problem and are delightful folks.

The restart button we were looking for.
This is the first vacation that my friend and myself had said that we didn’t want to leave. It was the most relaxing, restful, stress free vacation I have ever had. The clean crisp air and the view will take your breath away. The cabin was very clean and very well stocked. The owners are wonderful & came immediately to help us get the gas fireplace started when I couldn’t figure it out. Mt Airy is about a 20 minute scenic drive and worth going to. On the last day there we decided to relax and not go out so we could enjoy the quiet serene views. I would also recommend you either have an SUV or a truck to get to the cabin. The road to get to the cabin is a rough gravel road and the driveway is steep. We had an SUV and had no problems. As I am writing this review all I can think about is wanting to be there. I absolutely loved this place and plan on booking another trip here next fall. This was definitely the restart button we needed and worth the drive. I can’t thank the owners enough for their kindness. We hope to book with you again next year.

What an amazing cabin. It was extremely clean and decorated to where you felt like you were home. The views were just breathtaking sitting on the back porch. Linda the owner checked up on us periodically to make sure we didn’t need anything and how our stay was going. I can’t thank her enough for our wonderful vacation and the coziness of the cabin.

GREAT TIME WITH HIGH SCHOOL FREIND FROM UPSTATE ny
It was great and our friends had to come to NC for a check-up at Charrliot from Upstate NY . We all had a great week and the Manger/Owner check in on us after a few hour of arrival just like a good hotel would do , to make sure everything was ok. Housekeeper was also very nice and still cleanning when we got there a little early. Great place and we will be back next year with family. V/R Ray

Perfect mountain getaway.
The cabin is beautiful and has all of the amenities you could want. The view from the back deck is absolutely incredible! We loved that it is pet friendly, and our dogs had so much fun. We loved the cabin atmosphere with the peaceful location and beautiful view. Linda was very welcoming and checked in with us by text right away to be sure all was good. On a whole the cabin was clean with fresh bedding and any supplies needed such as paper towels.
