Waterfront View Perfect for Fun Loving Families!

There are not many places like this home that are less then a 10 minute walk to the beach that have a pool, and on a lake. We have games and activities for all the ages and everything you need to make this a memorable vacation. We will provide coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards and more. We have a sun room overlooking the pool with a wet bar and an arcade game with 60 of the old school games (Ms. Pac Man, Frogger, Battleship among others). This home has a primary suite with a king bed, another bedroom with two queen beds and one with a queen bed and a trundle. This home has a total of five TV's with a 70' tv in the living room and 50' TV in the master suite. Our kitchen has commercial grade appliances.

2023 upgrades include the primary bathroom remodeled and the entire interior of the house was painted.

We just added a pool heater and a pool cooler for those hot summer days.

We only rent from Saturday to Saturday.

Sorry no smoking or pets permitted.

House is exactly as picture. We had the pool heated for our stay in November, which was great. Everything you need is in the house and it is very comfortable. Owner was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Felt Like Home Right Away
I can't say enough good things about this property! The house is located beside a lagoon in the peaceful community of Palmetto Dunes. The beautiful, quiet beach is a 10 minute walk away, and the owners of the house have supplied chairs, umbrellas, and canvas wagons to make the short trek there easy and comfortable. When the tide is out, the shallow tidal pools are heavenly for children (and adults!) to splash around in. The house itself is outfitted with everything you need for an enjoyable stay -- there's even a stroller and a high chair! We loved the pool and patio for long, lazy afternoons. The owner was very responsive to any queries we had. The house felt very much home, and we are planning to return next year. Thanks for a great stay, Mike!

Sweet Fall Break!
Beautiful Palmetto Dunes home on the lagoon with all the amenities we could have needed or wanted. This home definitely checked all the boxes! Some highlights...very well stocked kitchen, many games with an arcade game table, lots of towels were provided, outdoor kitchen with bar, beautiful pool area, the pool was nicely heated for a couple of cool October days, quite neighborhood and many things we needed for the beach which is only about an 8 minute bike ride. Mike was an excellent host, checking in several times before we arrived with information and a couple of times during our stay to make sure our expectations were met. Highly recommend this beautiful property!

We vacationed as a family of 6 with teens during TS Debby. It was our 4th visit to Palmetto Dunes, and we couldn’t more highly recommend the lovely home and its owners. The home is clean and comfortable, and the owner did a fantastic job of communicating and ensuring our stay was enjoyable. We would definitely book again.

Wonderful house in a great location! Perfect size for our family of 6. The kids really enjoyed the pool and deck. The house is an easy 5 minute bike ride to the beach. As a bonus, the house is stocked with all of the extras you will need for a fun week! Mike was great about communicating with us!

Everything about the property was as listed and in very good condition. Mike was very communicative both prior to and during our stay. We loved spending the late nights in the sunroom which shielded our voices from the toddler. Highly recommend staying here.

The house is as nice as advertised. Clean and inviting, like new inside. Nice beds and furniture. Great spot on the island. Easy walk to the beach and walkable to grocery and shopping by bike path. Nice selection of beach gear (chairs etc) available for use. Our group especially enjoyed the video game table on the sun porch and spikeball (game carried from the house along with chairs by pull able beach wagon) on the dog friendly beach. Would stay again, highly recommend.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sweet's retreat! The home is beautiful and is exactly as described in the listing. The neighborhood in Palmetto Dunes is stunning. We loved the yard backing up to the lagoon and saw lots of wildlife. Mike was great to communicate with from the time I booked the property until we arrived. He even checked in to make sure we were doing ok and to see if we needed anything. We would highly recommend this property and plan to come back as soon as we can. Beautiful Property!
Everything about our stay was amazing! The house was immaculate and Palmetto Dunes was gorgeous. There were 6 of us total (2 children and 4 adults) and we were very comfortable, we all had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the outdoor kitchen was an added bonus! The pool was very nice and was heated perfectly for some chilly October evenings. There is a back dock overlooking the lagoon and we all enjoyed watching the turtles and my husband was happy to fish off of it a few times. There is a private beach access withing walking distance and there were beach wagon/chairs/umbrella available for us to use. The property owner was great, we had a few questions during our stay and he responded quickly. Highly recommend this beautiful property!

Perfect Fall Break
We had the best time staying at the Sweets' Retreat. The "3 season" porch was a fantastic bonus room that we used every day for meals, playtime, and relaxing. We swam in the heated pool every afternoon and most evenings. The beach was an easy 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride away. This was our first time staying in Palmetto Dunes and we definitely plan to come back. Far and away, however, Mike was a generous host with excellent communication prior to and during our stay.
