I received an urgent message about a family emergency in the early morning of Sunday, September 22, which forced me to cut my trip short and return home. I was able to book a flight departing from Vienna the following day through Expedia. I contacted Expedia to request changing my hotel reservation from September 27 to September 23. I was asked if I was willing to pay an additional 47 euros, to which I agreed. However, I was later informed by the hotel that, according to their policy, it wasn't possible. As a result, I had to pay 175 euros to stay at the Adina Hotel.
Frankly, as a customer, I found this situation extremely frustrating. To make matters worse, on September 26, I received a formal email from the hotel welcoming me, which only added to my disappointment with their slow customer service. I would advise future Expedia customers considering booking this hotel in Vienna to take note of this experience.

(your room was still booked in our system because expedia didnt send us a cancellation)Please dont be disgruntled to us. You choose to book the non-refundable rate with the consequences that in the case of no show you have to pay the full amount or rather the date is not changeable. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful in guiding us to the local train station. They also helped us in advance to get a taxi for the airport and packed us a breakfast bag for my husband and me. Furthermore, their breakfast was amazing!

Very nice hotel with excellent breakfast. Not many late dining options in the area, but we enjoyed our stay here.

Posted Sep. 6, 2024 on HotelsGreat stay, quiet area, comfortable beds, a/c, clean bathroom and strong water pressure from shower. Free parking both at street level and behind the hotel. Good cold breakfast selection although the hot selection could have been a bit wider. 10 mins walk to train station and less than 30 mins to get into central Vienna from there. Staff were helpful with any queries we had.
