Perfect holiday house

The kitchen was perfect for staying in and cooking up a storm, the house had every utensil you could ever need.
All the beds were really comfortable.

Good location but not clean and a few shortcomings
Publié le 4 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location, nice house for large group. Unfortunately, cleanliness was not up to standard. When reported to the owner, with pictures, they said that some of the cleaning was the responsibility of the previous renters (really??} and there was simply not enough time for the cleaners to clean the property properly. Neither of these reasons was good enough - some of the areas such as the tracks on the sliding doors, the extract fans, the dirty windows, inside drawers and cupboards, and the general cleanliness of both upstairs and downstairs outside areas was unacceptable.
Broken and missing shelves in the kitchen fridge door made it difficult to store everyday food items.
Main bedroom had no hanging space for clothes.
Only 1 hairdryer for 3 bathrooms. Insufficient reading lights.
Long list of do's and don'ts that they fail to live up to themselves.
The owners stated that this was not a business arrangement and implied that we were sharing the property rather than renting it. Certainly, was a business arrangement for us considering the considerable rental charged.

Ian wanted a discount and sadly chose to focus on anything negative he could find at the property during his stay. We will let the other reviews of our property speak for themselves on both this platform and others. We would also suggest that Ian buys his own holiday home so he doesn't need to bother with other people's.

Lovely stay at Hindmarsh Island

Family birthday celebration

Great spot
