A lovely find
Posted Oct. 24, 2018 on HotelsA really lovely stay. We were welcomed and shown our room. We explored the area, which is beautiful, and then ate in the hotel restaurant. Food was traditional German and very nice. Breakfast was good. We booked a second night whilst we were there. All staff that we saw spoke brilliant English.

One night stay- worth the trip!
Posted Oct. 30, 2017 on HotelsLovely little Gasthaus near Titensee. Very clean, quiet. Evening meal was typical German fayre, very well cooked, nice restaurant. Breakfast in a lovely sunny room with mountain views. Great value for money and the staff were lovely!

highly recommend for trip to Lake Titisee by car
Posted Sep. 3, 2017 on HotelsGreat location to visit Lake Titisee if you are travelling by car. Lake is only 10 minute drive away (even though there were significant road works on at the time). Staff were friendly and welcoming. Accommodation is comfy, spacious and clean. Food in the restaurant was of good value for quantity and the continental breakfast was more than adequate.

Small Gem in the Black Forrest
Posted Aug. 14, 2016 on HotelsThis traditional gasthaus did not disappoint. I selected it for is isolated location and proximity to "local" traditional Germany lifestyle. There are multiple hotel options in the vicinity and this small gasthaus is perfect for people who want to get out of the hotel during the day and return to a nice place to rest. It is not alone but deserves to be counted among the best.
The restaurant was well run and the staff is very nice and accommodating. the view from the rooms is exceptional sub-alpine mountains with hiking, walking, biking and horse riding trains intersecting the property.

A Super Nice Experience!
Posted Jun. 5, 2016 on HotelsYou would love it if you are a nature lover. The hotel is located in the middle of the road, surrounded by lots and lots of trees, which provides a quiet and comfortable environment. And the staff are very kind and helpful! Would love to stay here again!
