Publié le 31 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe stayed on this property to attend the TX Renaissance Festival. It was so relaxing and peaceful. Our family had a great time fishing and enjoying the outdoors. Mrs. Sherry was such a gracious and accommodating host. We would definitely rent from her again. Our kids talked about the stay all the way home.

Perfect relaxing getaway
Publié le 6 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe had a horrible first half of the year and really needed to relax, recharge & restore ourselves. This was the perfect fit for us! No people around, but still close enough to go shopping at walmart. Great views. Shooting range was just what we asked for. Only disappointment was the pond was not full & we didn't catch any fish. But we did relax & catch a good conversation! Loved seeing the horses & other livestock. We'll definitely be back when we need another recharge! Highly recommend it!!

Great little spot in the country

Peace and Serenity
Publié le 23 juill. 2019 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed such a nice relaxing weekend fishing and floating. We even got some target practice at the gun range. I loved the location and got some much needed R & R. We will most definitely go back.

Great hosts - excellent accommodations

We enjoyed the benefit of relaxing, reading, studying, stitching, walking and wetting a line. The fish weren’t quick to jump on the hook...but strategically bit often enough to string us along. We caught a few small ones and a 4 pound bass...we released them quickly for you to catch. It was fun to watch a good Astros game on the big screen TV. The hosts provided a welcoming atmosphere and were quick to respond to any of our communication. One of the bonus benefits that blessed us was the large bottled water dispenser...so refreshing! In fact the time out there was refreshing for the body and soul....thanks for making it so.

Leslie and her daughter were absolutely the most wonderful people you could want to meet. They were very considerate and kind. Hope they come again to visit.
