Not having a tv in my room , was a turn off for me . I think it will be best if guests are advised to only come to the premises with off road cars.

Hi I must apologise for out roads we were in th process of repairing them during your stay. I had not realised that out maintenance staff had made the humps in the road too high for any of us to drive on. They are now fixed and subsequent guests had no problems with ordinaru With regard to TV there is TV in our main lodge where all are welcome to watch Premium DSTV. & access FREE WIFI. It is impossible to lay cables in a bush situation and we have a dispensation in this regard. Most lodges do not even have TVs, the focus for most guest is wild life.

A capming experience for a five star price!

Dirty bed sheet, third class furniture, non functional ancient age television, rotting food in the common fridge.. You get the idea. Its literally in the bushes.. You shouldn't be using a two wheel drive to get there. They should mention thisin the description. Maid was of pleasing nature, tried to be helpful. Owner/ manager was nowhere to be found. No concierge services at all. You are on your own. Also did I mention no locks on the doors and no safety guarantee. One of the toilets was non functional. Bath tub was not

Please note I have not replied to this before. We were going through a bad time with staff, here in the bush it is not easy to get dedicated staff. The guests sheets were changed and the Fridge cleaned. The TV at that time was the old type of TV but it still had satellite Channels it was replace sometime ago and recently upgraded. Full DSTV is available. Yes it is litterally in the bush, that is what people usually come for at our "Pangolin Bush Camp. and by the way we haven't yet graded it to keep costs down. If one wants a "Hotel" you won't find a traditional hotel in the rural areas. We do not have a concierge, we are not 5 star. This camp is self catering so you are sort of on your own, but we are available on the phone. Doors now have locks and keys for peace of mind. The whole property has razor wire and the gate are kept locked. Entry is by intercom. We have a lime problem in the water which is mostly filtered out but it still gives us trouble with the plumbing. The furniture is antique cottage furniture and works perfectly for the type of accommodation. This is not a fancy upmarket hotel When booking one should not go by the cheapest rate as one only gets what one pays for. Read the information first. I would have upgraded them but my 4star luxury Shikwari suites were fully booked.
