Publié le 30 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed for 9 days at the apartment and it was close enough to walk to beach and shopping but a bit of a climb coming back so perfect if you have a car. We rented a vehicle and it worked out fine for us. Nice quiet location. Extremely lovely hosts that accommodated any requests we had. Would recommend this apartment.

It was a pleasure hosting Carolyn. We always recommend that visitors get a car wherever possible, so that they can access all of the options available on the island. Whether it's a restaurant close to us in Holetown, the fish and other delicacies in Oistins or surfing and kayaks on the East Coast. The hosts are kind and considerate people who were helpful and friendly in making sure we were comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect Apartment!

Certainly could have walked to the beach, mall, grocery store, etc but ideally needed a car to see the island. REALLY LOVED seeing the troupe of monkeys passing by several times a day! Sonia and Ian were the perfect host, made us feel welcome and comfortable! We'll be back!

They were great guests who really made full use of the flexibility of having a car and seeing different aspects of our beautiful island, especially their favorite Beach at Folkestone just a short distance away. Lovely spacious apartment among gardens
Publié le 10 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThe lovely spacious apartment with patio in the garden was quiet and private yet it was good to know Sonia and Ian were just next door. The bed, shower and kitchen were all great, as was the AC.
I liked the location close to Holetown, but although I am a good walker I tried to avoid the walk down the winding hill in the busy traffic and would have a car next time. I appreciated the welcome and kindnesses. Thank you!

It was our pleasure to host Claire and we are delighted to know that she enjoyed the apartment. Being close to all that Holetown has to offer is a plus for sure and we recognize that the walk and drive experience will vary for our guests depending on several factors such as the timing or if alone or with company. For example, some guests recently included the challenge of a morning walk up the hill toward St. Thomas Church in their activities and were very proud of their exploits walking as much of the beaches on the west coast as they could access. Holetown-Lower Halcyon Heights

It was a pleasure having Manon at the apartment. Her comments are appreciated. Our Wi-Fi allowed for easy communication via whatsapp when needed. It's our pleasure to provide a few basic supplies as a welcome to our guests on arrival. There are several beaches in close proximity to our location.

This property is very clean and situated in a beautiful neighborhood. However, transportation is a must OR plan for a hired vehicle (Taxi, etc).
The hosts are very accommodating and wonderful a couple. Sonia (owner) made sure I had everything to my comfort and would check in periodically to ask if I needed anything. I felt at home and slept well.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend booking this property.
