Relaxing Stay

The villa is an older property and must be respected as such. It feels like a home and not a holiday let. It has 2 beautiful verandas that offer cool Easterly breezes whilst viewing the garden and the wildlife that visits. All the rooms are of a very good size, and offer all amenities if someone is confined to 1 floor. The owner is very supportive and helpful, as is the manager, who will always pop round if you have a problem. I do think you need a car when staying at this property, which then provides good access to the local beaches, restaurants and shops. The family enjoyed their stay and would love to return.

Hello all Beware this place is nice and has a good location but lacked in maintenance. Drains backup, dining chairs break, little to no water pressure. Ground keeping lacks. Also had a power outage with no air conditioning for 2 days. The manager was great and assisted us as much as possible. I would wait until covid guidelines are lifted before going as you will have to quarantine for 5 days here with a tracking bracelet like being on house arrest. Besides that it is a beautiful island and people are friendly.

I am owner of the property. I welcome feedback as an improvement tool However the guest is not correct in a number of things that he has said. There is NO MAINTENANCE ISSUE at the Villa. I was the last person who stayed there in late February before the guest and his party came on 6th May. As normal everything was checked in preparation and everything was in working or and nothing broken Drain The underground drain outside backed up after a few days usage caused by tree roots This is not something one can see or check. It was reported and dealt with within a couple of hours which the guest acknowledged in a message on this platform AC The entire house is powered by 110 volts except the AC units in the bedrooms which are powered by 220 volts On the 5th day in the AC units in the bedroom stopped working. It was reported. An engineer was called in and was there with 2 hours. He identified that there was a likely power surge from the power company. That surge was prevented by a breaker from doing any damage as it cut the supply. The power company engineer came the next day and the problem was sorted. There are many fans in the house and 3 of these were used in the bedrooms while the AC was down. It was not a maintenance issue Water Pressure Low water pressure was not reported as an issue by the guest. That area is in fact a high water pressure area that caused pipes to burst a couple times. A calibrated pressure reducing valve was fitted. The pressure could easily have been increased although no one has ever had an issue with low pressure BROKEN CHAIR THE chair was not broken on their arrival or after 7 days It would have been fixed. It was not broken on 7 days when the free clean was given. The cleaner would have seen it. The 2nd week free clean was refused and we believe by then it was broken. He did not report Also a vanishing window blind that keeps out pests was broken and frame was down. These were discovered only after the guest had left. They left earlier than they said they would and the Villa Manager did not check the property until a couple days later - after I had done their review I asked why he did not report the water pressure or broken chair and he said that he did not want to bother us. I reminded him that both matters that were reported were sorted as quick as was possible Quarantine and Tags Quaranting for 3 or 4 days is government policy and the same for all. Tags were introduced as there was a large spike in May as some persons were breaking quarintine. The are now no daily cases in Barbados which is on the UK green list. So Some people pay thousands to quarintine in hotels . We provided it free in a large spacious Villa with ample grounds. We also looked after the guests getting in their groceries and supplies The has been a 5 STAR rated place. There are no maintenance issues. If something is broken etc and its reported then its sorted promptly I hope that anyone considering booking take my comments of the true situation board Thank you

Excellent choice

A really nice, spacious family home with all the space, facilities and equipment you would hope for an easy stay. Lovely garden, quiet location but easy walking distance to the beach and some excellent restaurants (Lone Star, Jumas) and easy to arrange deliveries or taxis for trips further afield. We rented this property at short notice and are very grateful to both the owner and the property manager for making this possible and very pleased with our choice. Recommended for families. Recommended for quarantine.

Value for money villa close to beaches and restaurants

This 4 bedroomed villa set in its own grounds provides excellent value for money for groups/families up to 8 people. It is only a 10-15 minute walk/2 minute drive from some nice beaches and a 10 minute drive to Holetown with large supermarket and top of the range shopping. Just a few minutes from the ABC Highway so easy to visit all the tourist spots around the island...we really made the most of our stay

Amazing villa,close to the beach

The property is amazing. This was our first time in barbados and it had all the amenities that we were looking for infact more than we excepted,. The Vila is on 3 levels . It's very spacious and bright. The villa manager,Ms Fields is just fantastic,she has the full knowledge of the whole island,as has the owners. We can't fault anything about this villa. We will rent this villa again.
