Carpet was dirty and shower fixture difficult to figure out to open.

After reading your feedback, the homeowner wanted to share the following:The carpet does have some stains from previous guests, but it is cleaned thoroughly by a certified third-party cleaning service after each stay. We understand the importance of a clean environment and have already ordered a new carpet, which will be installed later this season.Regarding the shower fixture, there are instructions provided on the tub with a sticker indicating how to use it. Additionally, we are always available via the phone number and email listed in the unit to assist with any concerns during your stay.Thank you for your feedback, which allows us to continually improve for our future guests.

The property is clean and the location is very convenient, but we were a bit concerned about security and safety feature. The building is quite old and both entrance doors look to be easily broeken into. For the two entrances into the unit there are two digital locks at the bottom of the staires from outside, but for the two doors directly into the unit itself on top of the stairs, one cannot be locked at all and the other one can only be locked from inside of the unit. During our stay there were multiple times we heard the door with the inside lock giggled as someone was trying to get in, and it completely frightened my daughter and she refused to stay in the unit by herself and we had trouble sleeping at night worried about someone trying to get inside of the unit. We wish there were locks on both side of the doors into the unit.

Great Stay
Publié le 14 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayLove this location in the midst of downtown Holland. Location and ambiance of a flat above 8th street is hard to beat. Everything is well managed and clean. Clear instructions and an available host. Here’s what would make this a 5: it’s a big space with just a little furniture. Maybe work on the seating areas and artwork a bit. Also - a single bathroom isn’t enough for six people. Hard to add a bathroom - but it’s the truth.
Otherwise - it’s perfect. Well done by the management company.
