The service and the room itself were great. Pool and fitness room are great! Wonderful breakfast host. But the hems had come undone on the room drapes, conditioner bottle in the shower was empty, the parking lot was pitch black (very few working lights and not enough lights) and the main hotel sign is small and hidden by shrubbery. Small but important details.

There was white specks on our carpet possibly plaster. There was a T shirt between the wall and the mattress that wasn’t ours. Bathroom grout sloppy. Tight bathroom with shower door

I felt the toilets were way way too low to the floor. The breakfast was costly for what foods were available, it was no different than a continental breakfast but you had to pay. Food in the lounge was excellent. White bed sheets had stains on them upon entering our room the 1st night. Also no complimentary hand soap in the bathroom. TV remote was useless at operating the TV. Left curtain in room #133 has a gap between the wall on the left side so the parking lot lights illuminate the entire headboard on that side of the room.

The room was dirty upon arrival, crumbs and hair in beds, hair in tub, and toilet dirty. The whole room was dusty. I went to front desk to provide this information and ask for a new room. The front desk staff informed they had no other rooms that could accommodate our party/room type. They offered to do a deep clean of the room, which meant we had to leave the property for them to do so. Not having another place to stay in the area, we had no choice but to agree to this. The ONLY saving grace at this hotel was Anna at the front desk who did the clean herself with the help of an assistant. She wrote an I’m sorry card and provided a small tin of cookies. The fact that these items exist should be enough to know they have had problems in the past.
I requested a call from the manager, and two days post stay there has been no call, no apology, nothing. I called again today to speak to the manager and again got a response from front desk staff of “we can write a note to her to call-acknowledging that there is already a note for her.
Very disappointed in this hotel. For being a Doubletree by Hilton, I expected for this hotel to meet the quality standards we are all used to. They failed to even meet minimal expectations. Do not book this hotel.

Not the best experience...
Publié le 22 août 2024 sur HotelsAdded breakfast through booking. Didn't receive breakfast even though I checked box for $6. Bathroom didn't have soap in it?!? Haven't seen that before. Staff was frustrated they had a line of guests to check in since she was by herself.
