Great quick get away

Nice condo
Posted Oct. 21, 2024 on HomeAwayThe condo was nice, spacious and had all you needed inside. But we just wanted to fish, and there is no access for a fishing cart! 14 steps up and 15 steep steps down was very hard. Wish there were access with ramps instead of stairs.

Posted Sep. 24, 2024 on HomeAwayCondo was exactly as advertised. Easy boating accessibility with onsite ramp and docking. Pool is huge and has an 8ft deep end. We also made use of the grills. Excellent getaway location

If it weren’t for the stairs….
Posted Sep. 11, 2024 on HomeAwayCommunications started out great with the manager, but when we arrived there were FOUR flights of stairs to get to the rental. My God mother has bad knees!! I had no idea about the stairs. So I asked if we could be switched to another unit. Was told unfortunately not possible. That they hope the owners will install an elevator. Which didn’t help my situation at all. Had to watch my god mom struggle with those stairs the entire week. I actually cried the first two days there. Not a bad place, but definitely needs updated. And, the listing should be clearer about the Stairs.

Communication is something we are proud of. Yes, I do remember you messaging me after arrival that (and I quote) “I should have asked more questions prior to booking, so it’s on me,” however now on a public platform you seem to have a different tune. The unit is on the second floor. In fact, it’s labeled 202 to be exact. It takes two flights of stairs to get to, not four. The ground level is parking and allows the building to be on stilts/pilings in case of flooding. The first level is where the three levels of condos begin. Again, I apologize for your godmother’s knees.

Wonderful condo
Posted Sep. 5, 2024 on HomeAwayThe condo was beautifully decorated and fully stocked with pot and pans, linens and towels..Great location..The pool across the street was amazing and the ocean view from the balcony couldnt have been any better..Great place to stay and communication with property manager was very good..I highly recommend this property..Hope to stay here again next year

Great Stay!
Posted Jul. 6, 2024 on HomeAwayThis listing very accurately describes the rental. View is amazing and owner very responsive. Kitchen faucet broke during our stay and owner responded immediately and had someone out the next day to fix. Carpets in the common area could use a good cleaning as they feel as if they are covered in sunscreen. Also closet in the master bedroom full of storage (chairs, lamps, etc) makes it hard to hang clothes during stay but plenty of dresser storage Did see a large water bug on our last night but that is to be expected that close to the coast. Very quiet area for a relaxing stay!

Thank you for the review! I have the best handy man at Topsail who is very responsive and I’m so glad he could fix the facet in such a timely manner! We have plans to change to hardwoods this winter (off season). I will also clean out the master closet, I am sorry for the minimal space, I’m glad you let me know! I have the condo sprayed for bugs every 3 months but unfortunately the water bugs do show occasionally near the water. Please come back and stay for a discount for returning guest!

Topsail condo
Posted Jun. 22, 2024 on HomeAwayCondo was pleasant to stay in but I was unable to get any response from owner through vrbo and through private text to the phone number left in condo instructions as a means of communication.
I got a welcome email through vrbo app from owner followed by an email a couple days before my vacation asking me what day Lowes could deliver a new washer to the rental. I had no idea what was expected of us in this request, whether we needed to be there for delivery etc. I asked for more info and never got a response. When we arrived, there was a washer there and we assumed it was new. I sent a second inquiry using same message stream that original question from owner came through and again got no response. On the day before our check out I had a couple of questions as the instructions for check out didn't clarify what to do with towels and there was conflicting info in the multiple copies of instructions in the rental info notebook. Again, after 24 hours, no response. If it hadn't been for the frustration during my vacation of lack of communication and ignoring my questions I would have no complaints with the property.

I have reviewed our correspondents and there is no communication or questions from your end during your stay. Unless there is a glitch with VRBO you must have been responding to a different host. Because I did not get a response on when the best time for you for washer to be delivered I contacted Lowe’s to get them to deliver between guests. If you scroll down and read all of my reviews one of the top praises is my communication. I’m sorry you were unable to use the proper means of contact with VRBO but my cell phone is listed in the condo for any problems as well.
